My sister-in-law and I were at the site of the bombing earlier that day. Later was imbibing with UGA buddies a couple of miles away when it happened.

Family saw Joker and my son liked it, not my wife and daughters.

Saw Uncut Gems and family did not stay for the whole thing.

  • Can vouch that uncut gems was very good. Could see where it’s not for everyone.

I just learned Die Hard was a Christmas movie and saw it twice this week for the first time in several years. Didn’t see It’s a wonderful life listed on any channel for first time in years. I guess a sign of changing times.

I was in the park the night of the bombing when I was still working in news, and ended up covering the Jewel angle for two weeks directly after. I'm looking forward to watching the movie to see how accurate it is.
