Knives Out was proof Rian Johnson doesn't need to be slumming it with Star Wars movies.
Me and the lady are probably going to see Uncut Gems tonight
True enough that Knives Out doesn't necessarily need to be seen on the big screen
Unless you just want to see an as large screen as possible Ana de Armas. And let's be honest, who doesn't want that?
Couldn't pay me to see another Star Wars movie at this point. And I was as big a fan of the originals as anyone. (Still remember going to the theatre in 1977 and standing in a ticket line that wrapped around the block.)
Haven't made it to the theatre in a while but definitely up for Ford/Ferrari. along with Knives Out, Richard Jewell, and 1917.
Interested to hear from others on Uncut Gems. Hoping for great but worried it's a disaster.
you ain't lying...she should get some sort of award
Saw Little Women today and it was actually much better than I thought it would be. Went with my wife because she wanted to see it, and there have been times when she went to games with me that she didn’t want to see, so I feel like it’s something I should do for her.
The Star Wars movie was pretty good.
Richard Jewel was also much better than I thought it’d be.
Shane come back.
So you reccomend it?
I was really excited for Richard Jewell but it turned into a huge disappointment. There were so many falsehoods that it ended up defeating the purpose of the film and was hypocritical. It's a shame because it would be a great story without the "creative liberties" from Eastwood.
So.....if you aren't aware of the falsehoods.....it could still be good
I was almost 30 when it happened and don't remember details.
Oh yeah the movie was well done. Just enjoy it as a piece of fiction. I just couldn't get past it since I kept up with everything that happened in reality.
