Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

@JoelSidneyKelly I don't know what this means, but I think he's talking to you.
Was halfway through and finally got a chance to finish
Unless your family is living on drive-through Chick-Fil-A this might be a great time to learn to cook or to improve the culinary skills you already have.
Or you can see if Space Invaders is still online somewhere. Send me a quarter for each game so I can pay off my arcade tab from college :)
Been practicing a lot of guitar.
There is an ancient form of entertainment known as books that might help.
Whachootalkinbout Willis!?!
Drink then drink some more then repeat
Few threads have separated the "older" posters from the "younger" posters like this one.
"Older" posters - try to help your parents, see if you can help a neighbor, find something that you have always wanted to be good at doing, read books.
"Younger" posters - none of that stuff
"Younger" poster started the thread. Different ways to fight boredom when I was his age. As you stated, you can tell a little difference in the ages based on the comments.
When I was his age, there was no internet. So who did I ask? My parents? I did and and they had the best groomed yard, cleanest windows, and not one sock laying on my bedroom floor.....
When I was really younger...like elementary school and Jr High...when we got bored we would all go play "Smear the Queer" Or some called it "British Bulldog". Get a big group of guys together and a football...throw the football in the air...whoever catches it everyone else tries to tackle him. This would go on for hours. Of course, being on house arrest is a totally different kind of bored.
Go ahead. Sneak it in.
The last time I ever said anything about being bored my dad sent me out to the garden in the middle of the summer and made me dig up potatoes. I have never admitted to being bored since.
I was tasked with weeding the garden. Digging potatoes would have been preferable!
BTW, this reminds me of a classic Monty Python sketch.
Here's the transcript:
