Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Something is really bothering me about Dawgnation

Yep. It's as divisive as it ever was, and the politicians from both sides are adding fuel to the fire. Seems to me they don't want a solution, wonder why that is.
It's what the world does Tex. It's the precedent set. Have to protect those that can't handle hearing differing opinions. They might gasp begin to understand. We will all get our sensitivity classes soon. Oh well, back to your music thread 😁
I disagree wholeheartedly. I have seen owners of companies face the ire of cancel culture due to their conservative beliefs. My God, the phrase “cancel culture” was originated because of butt-hurt liberals. The tolerant left is tolerant as long as your beliefs fit into their little box. If not YOU ARE A RACIST BIGOT/UNCLE TOM, FOOL. Case is point, the African American culture and their views on Herschel Walker. You’re making this too easy.
Crap...
3...2...1...
Except one side is not destroying cities, intimidating citizens, and threatening to "burn it all down" if they don't get their way.
Herschel is still the 🐐
You're viewing that statement with a small scope. One side feels they have been suppressed, repressed, and oppressed for hundreds of years.
Down vote for this? Cowards.
Fair enough. We disagree about this, but I bet we can agree that America would be a better place if we all watched that clip of Herschel running over Bill Bates every day...
@pgjackson .. @BoroDawg
While I may agree with some of you premises ... please dial it back a few notches or we will give them the ammo needed to close it down.
Thanks
Just until the buzzer sounds...
There's actually about 17 sides to this. It's not simply a two sided argument/discussion. All these issues have sub-issues and sub-sub-issues.
But without respect and mutual admiration for each other as human beings, we never get to those.
Right now, it's just a good fight in the lunchroom...
100% my friend.... 100%....
Well, they haven’t in my lifetime and haven’t in 5 decades. Maybe if they quit voting democrat every election cycle, they could finally see positive change. What’s that famous quote? “Doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results is the definition of insanity.” Yeah...
LBCoach and I should be able to agree on some aspects of a discussion without having to agree on them all. Same with pgjackson. There are a lots of things we all agree on.
But I can't get my feelings hurt when somebody with completely different life experiences actually feels different than I do...
I brought my point back to the original topic of HW.
Yikes...
Also this...
Ever been to a road game, and 98% of the home fans were awesome, but that 2% - those extreme idiots - almost ruined it for you? And all you probably talked about on the way home was the guy who yelled Tiger Bait and threw a drink on your suburban?
We can't let the 2% do that to us, on Saturdays or the rest of the week...
Cancel culture isn't even real. Its just a phrase used to delegitimize criticism at this point. People on the right get mad at people on the left for their beliefs all the time. Honestly, all I'm taking away from this is you hate anyone who doesn't think like you or criticizes people you agree with. You know, the thing you say makes you so mad.
Yikes what? Truth hurt?
Yeah...
The use of the word "they" here kinda gave me one of those feelings were you **** your head to the side and squint for a minute...
PS. Seriously, the word c.ock, in that context, gets censored..
