Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

My grades were not nearly good enough to go to Yale, but there was a kid one year behind me who did. At Barrington (IL) High School. His name: Gary Fencik.
Seldom do young men from Yale make it to the NFL, but Fencik did. He was the starting Safety for the 1980 Chicago Bears team that won the Super Bowl that year.
Drafted in the tenth round by the Dolphins, he played 12 seasons for Da Bears. Had a ton of interceptions too.
Thankfully, I'll be in better company with Joseph around
Great story! Can't wait for the updates as he progresses!
Truly amazing, great for him, great for you.
Of course it is...the campus is in fairly close proximity to Frank Pepe’s Pizza!
The best part of being in New Haven
I am hungry. Do they ship orders and what do you recommend?
How is Louie's? I wasn't able to go during my trip, but still wish I could've tried the burger from the "Birthplace of the Hamburger Sandwich".
Awesome news! Please give him a big congrats from the Dawgnation.
Tiff treats rocks
Heard New Haven isn’t the greatest..... but the pizza 🍕 is
I believe Yale is a great school.....however......according to my dad....it’s no West Georgia.
Also amazing. They still use the original upright broilers to cook the patties. Comes out mid-rare to medium placed on white bread with lettuce and tomato
Quattro formagio(?) With roasted red peppers and Italian sausage or the fresh tomato pie in late summer. Honestly, everything is good
When I taught/coached at UWG, it was often referred to as the Harvard of the pines. It may have been tongue-in-cheek.
Congratulations my man!
LOL, right!? 🤠
Thanks for sharing. Congratulations! Really awesome!
@texdawg Thanks for working with the young men and women to make their futures better. I had a few moments today to think about how some teachers positively impacted my life without knowing it. Teaching and coaching is such valuable work.
Fantastic news - congratulations to Joseph & the family!
PS - New Haven is indeed rough, but Frank Pepe's is the GOAT
