BA Bashing soapbox
I am going to soapbox on something so I apologize beforehand. This is not to everyone just a few people who I wont name.
@DawgNationDaily does his job. I hear people griping about how he spins things. Do people not realize he is performing his role. I for one appreciate it. We have
1. @JeffSentell who's job is to tell the recruits story. Yeah he comes from a uga perspective but his first job is to tell recruits stories.
2. @MikeGriffith is a guy who has been all over covering college football and his job is to tell uga stories from a national perspective.
3. @DawgNationDaily who's job is to discuss uga football from a fans perspective. Yes he highlights the good, and puts a positive spin on the bad. IT'S HIS JOB!, and he does it very well imo.
The guys at dawgnation imo do their jobs well. If your not happy with the coverage there are plenty more options out there.

I do not hear the BA bashing. Nor Jeff. I agree that they have roles.
I don't mind BA's spin and I have learned to take his football prognostications with a large grain of salt. Back a few years when he oft proclaimed that UF's offensive line was so poor it would lead to their demise, and it didn't...I realized much of what he said was simple gator hate and wishful thinking. No problem there once I understood that.
BA has had some good calls such as a 2019 stronger opponent in AU than was the general consensus.
For Mike, I could offer quite the story about how Jax provides reunions with friends over the decades. Intellectually he would understand but not be moved from the recruiting and Athens perspective. Kirby and Mike might be right despite my experience. What we have to get past is rejecting someone for bringing a different and even outside perspective.
Bub you can spin it however you want. If you are bashing fLLLoriduh, I'm showing up. Also, Connor Riley's Connor in coverage segment is getting better every day. Doing a great job on the beat. Nice to have fresh content to get me through the work day, especially from 800 miles away.
BA is the man that makes it all tick - he cares about the Dawgs and that matters. On the other hand, I am coming around with Mike Griffith. At first I was totally put off by his takes, but now I am becoming more and more entertained by him - sometimes he is down right hilarious to me. My favorite DN program is Cover 4 now - I kinda love to see the conflicting viewpoints and banter. I am now convinced its all intentional to create a pro-wrestling type drama where Mike is the heel. I'm honestly more entertained by the days Mike Griffith is on DND than the days Jon Stinchcomb is, even though my viewpoints are probably more similar to Jon's.
DawgNation (ALL of it) and that goes for all of the reporters, (Brandon Adams, Jeff Sentell, Conner Riley, and Mike Griffith) as well as all of us who are all here in the forum all of the time too are awesome in my humble opinion. Add to that, all of the great content that is centered on the Georgia football program, with just so many recruiting articles, and human interest stories on the players, the coaches, and their families too, this place has everything that is what typically what makes my own day (almost daily) a whole lot nicer. My living these days 2350 miles away from Athens, Georgia now in San Diego, California my own fault. I DO miss all things Georgia a whole lot. However, I fell for, and then I married a sweet local woman from way out here after my time that I served in the US Marines. Even with all of the slightly negative things that are here in the DawgNation, there are quite a large number of you, that have over my nearly four years of being here who have become like an online family of sorts to me. I love it that there are just so many of you in this forum, who posses such a great sense of humor, and share my own love of our Georgia Bulldogs. Have a great day y’all. I also hope that those of you who took the time to read all this stuff enjoy it’s heartfelt thoughts that I have shared here with you, as much as I have enjoyed posting my absent minded ramblings in here with all of y’all. GO DAWGS!!!
PS - All of these kids of mine are being raised right!!! They are all HUGE DAWGFANS!!!
Awesome looking little ones!!
I rarely read any of the articles here but no matter whether you agree or disagrree you should be respectful. However todays culture is messed up. In a lot of cases if you disagree you are a hater or basher. There is hardly any room for civil discussion without the person who is accused of bashing being bashed simply because they disagree. Every once in a while i will read an article but i usually dont because i usually disagree with it.. But i hardly ever then post about it. As long as someone is not name calling someone disagreement should be fine.
BA is the kind of propaganda I can get behind.
Edit: I don't really hear anyone complaining about him either?
I think it stemmed from a poster that popped out of nowhere and his first 2 (only) post were bashing BA. He hasn't posted since.
Please be careful not to turn around. We have four also. The oldest graduated from boot camp yesterday and the next in line starts Pitt in August and the next will have her license soon and the youngest has three jobs and is investing.
also you posted before and there was a lot of growing In between.
I think that term is "troll" instead of poster..but I could be wrong.
We Mods had to go through extensive PC training during Covid protocol....😜😉 JK!!!!
are "refresher courses"/continuing ed offered for you guys /s
Thank you all for the kind words and I really appreciate the feedback. I think that’s true for all of us at DawgNation. We’re genuinely interested in trying to serve our audience, and it’s important for us to know how we’re doing in that regard.
