Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Queensryche was one of the more under appreciated bands in the 80s-90s. Operation:mindcrime could have been a movie if someone had chosen to write it. Definitely one of my top 5.
Metallica with Master of Puppets, And Justice for All and the black album.
Megadeth.. even had the MTV news theme song Peace sells. Have to thank Metallica for kicking Dave out.

Samantha was VERY popular in the new papers in England when I was there.
I wore out my Queesryche tapes back then. To this day when one of their songs comes on it reminds me of driving around Washington State in college. Weird thing is I can't stand it anymore.
I noticed there are a lot of headbangers on here. Might want to consider checking out the Headbanger's Ball Facebook page. It's a lot of fun. So many great memories and awesome videos shared. I loved that show back in the day.

Good list. If you had to choose one…who is it.
I would have a tough time choosing between Alice and Soundgarden
For me it would be between STP and Soundgarden. I would probably go with Soundgarden.
Many thanks to Linda Ronstadt for giving us the Eagles in 1971. Now, how’s that for your backing band!
Just missing the cut…Offspring. Had a very good prime in the 90s.
