Living in Birmingham, I know that many AL fans wanted to get rid of both him and the OC. I suspect that's why he went to Ole Miss. The AL fans I know think that the DC and OC were what's wrong with AL-who lost 2 games in very hostile stadiums by a total of 4 pts. The sky is not falling in Tuscaloosa. As scary as the semifinal game was, I still preferred GA to play Ohio State rather than AL.

I hope not but if AL wants Schumann as DC it will be hard to say no.

I had another thought about Austin Armstrong that fits the death grip tactics that AL tries to put on all rivals. Add AA to the staff and THEN announce the Schumann hire.

IF Schumann takes the job at AL UGA would have an opening on the D staff. Only now a prime candidate to backfill Schumann with a promising up and coming coach is thwarted by Saban's preemeptive hire.
