Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

That’s great news. Means the strike is working
Yeah, I just love the way it’s working on my 401k……
I know it’s the norm but it’s a really weird view of how the economy and income should work if you think about it a bit
What is great news exactly?
That auto-companies can’t fulfill basic functions. Kinda the entire point behind a strike. Owners are hurting their own company
Once this strike is over…few may be able to drive an American made automobile.
Does that mean a comeback of the "Yugo" is on the horizon? I still have most of one in the barn at Grandma's.
I think I may have been the last person on this board that you had yet to piss off but you’ve officially done it.
I’m not the one refusing to pay workers to do the job you need done. Your gripe is with the boardroom not me
Can’t complain about lack of factory jobs and then refuse to pay them a fair wage.
Google salaries of CEOs for American automakers. Now google salaries for CEOs of the other major car companies.around the world.
Awesome…love it.
Bring our youth back to earth and require them to drive a yugo. No AC, AM radio and crank windows
Don’t let @YaleDawg get to you. I’m polar opposite from him on most topics and choose not to engage with him on certain topics.
But I love conversing with him and he brings a lot.
Just avoid those areas where he’ll piss you off.
I’m still hoping to meet Yale when I have a chance to head up and visit my nose tackle. But we won’t be discussing presidential candidates
I didn't google it. But if I had, what would I have found?
Unions do teach hardship, so in that manner, can be a good lesson.
They make 2-3 times less while the workers make double compared to the US auto industry.
Gotcha. That doesn't really surprise me. Lots of factors go into this...but in my experience...american unions do not benefit their workers long term. Like a....they mean well...but....type situation.
No, you are the person being a smart ass in regards to an acute problem I am dealing with and I posted on here thinking maybe someone would have a creative solution. Great news? Give me a break. Not interested in politics in either direction, but c'mon man.
Unions are apolitical
And the French are courageous
