Well shut my mouth. Elder gave us 7 strong innings - only 3 hits and one run. Can't expect much more than that from any pitcher. Bats quiet going into the 9th. Maybe a miracle?

Losing tonight by a final score of 2-1 is still a loss. It still is the same as losing in yesterday's 19-5 blow out. An "L" is still an "L", no matter what the final score is. AND?, I still cannot FREAKING stand the "Filthydelphia" Phillies!!!! GO BRAVES!!!

Nice start by Sale tonight. 6 innings pitched and 75 pitches. Only gave up one run, 3 hits with 9 K's. Pretty stout. Score tied 1-1 going into the bottom of the 7th. I'm pretty sure we'll find a way to lose it.

Braves relievers have pitched 3 innings of scoreless ball, giving up only one hit. Braves take a 2-1 lead in the top of the 10th. Can the pen hold the Phils?

Braves have only given up 4 hits in 9 innings, while garnering 9 themselves. Still, just a one run lead.

Alas, with 2 outs and the bags loaded, Braves up 2-1 in the bottom of the 10th, 2 strikes on Trae Tuner, Dylan Dodd gives up a single and Bravos lose 3-2. Oh, well.
