IF we swing at strikes tomorrow, we still have a chance. If we chase like we did tonight, it’s over. This team can win three games in a row no problem, if they lock in.

  • gonna have to do it against one of the best lefties in the game tomorrow. Big ask with this team.

  • Tough loss. LH pitchers have our number. Team is streaky and now is the time to start one……

If we are to survive this regional, it will be through lefties unfortunately. We are at home though, it’s very doable.

The loss in the first round of the SEC tournament and now to Duke is very disappointing of course but I like the direction this coach has the program headed in. What is that old saying? Rome, Georgia was not built in one day.

  • Dawgs showing that swagger of playing in Foley……lets hope it continues

7-7 in the top of the 7th.

Blew a 9-7 lead in the 9th surrendering two two-run homers.

Costly top of the 9th for our Dawgs' bats as we had 2nd & 3rd with no outs to attempt to add insurance. OSU pitcher then struck out the side.

Good season. Even better season in 2026!

CWJ seems to think he has a good core for next year's squad. Hope he can build on that. UGA isn't the only SEC team that has struggled and failed to make it out of a sub-regional. That comes as a surprise to me. Maybe it just doesn't "mean more" in college baseball or else there is something about these playoffs that make them harder than the regular season. Sorry it ended so soon.

I must admit I was a little turned off the few UGA players who wore their jersey's open like they were going to Saturday Night Fever. Is that a "thing" now? Didn't care for it all that much. Guess I'm more than a bit old fashioned. Guess I'll go listen to some Hank Sr.

    Good try guys.

If you're gonna have that much swagger you have to back it up. Otherwise you just look stup*d.

Payne Stewart used to dress up like a golfer from the 1920's or 30's. You can do that if you can play and he was extremely good. If you show up to a local public course dressed like that and shoot 120 you just look like a big d*mmy.

So yeah you have a tourney at your home field with three other teams. You go 1-2 and lose to the two legit teams you played. Pretty epic flop.

As a baseball fan, this is why you love the game, and the reason that this is the best sport to represent life. I mean look at Wright State and UTSA… they shocked the world and UTSA is headed to s super regional. Talent sure helps you get there, but you can still go out and do everything right and still lose.

Wes has created a culture that the UGA baseball program hasn't had for years. I'm glad they got to the post-season but really impressed with what he accomplished through this season with what he had. Disappointed with the outcome, and these younger guys feel this disappointment too and I guarantee they find a way back. Hope to see are large improvement on the pitching rotation and UGA will be a consistent program.
