Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

that was also the last game of the season. Saban had no choice. If we are in the last game of the year with Gunner in a similar scenario I have no doubt Kirby pulls that trigger
"It’s fair to say that Georgia did not show its best effort"
Perhaps it was their best effort! Could be a LONG day in TYS!
I get it…..you're in the red zone with seconds to play before the half, you want to score so you pass so as not to eat up the clock and give your team a second or third chance if needed……BUT when you're 6 inches from the the goal and seconds to play you've got to have an O-Line that can push a D-line….especially one that is smaller…..at least a couple of yards to give the "running" QB an easy push into the end zone…….Another head scratcher…..we've got the "best…deepest" TE room in the SEC……why no TE targets the whole game???……One more, I'm tired of hearing the Kirby excuse….we're just doing (play calls) what they give us……sounds reactive and defensive to me, why not go on offense and make our opponent react to what we are doing…..like taking shots down field???
Gunner will Never be Bennett. They are not comparable. One is in the NFL and one isn't. Gunner has the processing speed of a rock. Bennett is smart, Gunner isn't. Bennett can throw a deep back-shoulder fade, Gunner can't. Gunner could not pass QBs ahead of him on the depth chart. For 4 years. But for some reason, CKS and CMB thinks he deserves to be the starter over Puglisi based on game experience. Really? And the OL will only go as far as the pitiful coaching will take them. What brainiac convinced CKS to give Searles another chance to screw up UGAs line?
wow. Win and dawg fans still don’t believe. Did anyone ever think that Gunner was coached to not release a long throw? Why show the big boys your new toys when you don’t have to. The dawgs will be just fine in Knoxville and the rest of the season regardless of who’s QB1.
why not just run the offense fully and get better at it? Show off what you can do and make Tennessee have to prepare more?
