SO, basically Kirby is not saying anything meaningful or helpful right now as I still have no clue what the knee issue is exactly since the MRI came back clear. Sprain? Hyperextension?

Coach-speak for he is done until the playoff. Frick'n bummer as this will bite us against Tech.

They mention Chauncey as day to day , does that mean they only amputated one leg?

Hopefully CKS is being truthful about the severity of CJ's injury. If true than obviously makes no sense to play CJ vs Charlotte. The way UGA is currently playing UGA can also beat GT w/o CJ. If UGA sits CJ for those 2 weeks then he gets at least another week minimum of rest. Should UGA fail to make the SECCG CJ would then get a few (?) more weeks of rest and rehab. Better to have him at 100% for the playoffs than 75% for GT.

OK Guys, I need some help with the injury reports. Great news we apparently didn’t have season ending injuries vs the Longhorns, but what is worse, a “week to week” injury to CJ or a “day to day” injury to Chauncey? Go Dawgs!!!

Is there the potential that Colbie Young could return for playoffs?

My understanding is that "week to week" is worse that "day to day" as the time horizon for return is expected to be much longer…

You know what...I've gone back and forth on the "sit the guy to rest him" philosophy.

On the one hand....it preserves his health. On the other....it may put out his fire and dampen his passion. It allows "rust" to begin development.

Imo....at the end of the day....you should keep him engaged. Play him sparingly, if need be....but, maintain the edge and competitive spirit...in EVERY game.

Actually....being the intelligent leader, that he is....he could be a very valuable sideline resource and it could give him a perspective on his defense, that helps not just HIS game.…but, everybody elses.

He can be, what JT Daniels was to Bennett. A player's coach. It does nothing for his physicality....but, it sharpens his mental game. Keeps him engaged.

When it happened, my wife said it was a hamstring.

Not to sound like a pedantic p r i c k, but "Haynes King is one of the best quarterbacks in the country and has powered No. 16 Georgia Tech to a 9-1 start. King threw for 303 yards, ran for 110 and accounted for five touchdowns."

Really? All season? Those stats sound terrible! How in the world did GT get such a great win percentage with so little from its quarterback?!

Again. I'm almost never the one to comment on the writng, but there are limits…

Linebackers did good but the 2 freshman coming in in the Dline is what changed things imo. Elijah Griffin and Joseph-Ajonye are a great combination, can't wait to see what those 2 can become in the next 2-3 years. Great game all around! 🙏 for CJ, hopefully he still gets considered for the Butkus...

    GO DAWGS 🔴🐾⚫️

THe SECC game means a little something to the winner, but hardly anthing to the loser. As a matter of fact it's hard to beat a really good team twice in the same year. Bama beat us in the SECC game and we turned around and beat them for the Natty case in point. We won the SECC game in2017 against Auburn and lost to BAMA foe the Natty.

We lost CB in the SECC game and cost us the chance to win the Natty last year. Although Stockton performed adequately in the playoff against Notre Dame, we clearly needed BEcks experience. Should of beaten ND, probably would have lost to Ohio St. if we had gotten past Penn St. but you never know.

Tergiversate? The meaning of the verb is

"be deliberately ambiguous or unclear in order to mislead or withhold information…….once again, the consummate professional coach, Kirby Smart is wisely…..Tergiversate…..keep opponents guessing, inspire every player wanting just one opportunity and lastly, I really think it humors Kirby to befuddle the "media"…..keepum guessin while the DAWGS focus on the business at hand…..Charlotte
