Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Nope, i understand the challenge the can bring to a defense if you have 2 really good ones, but they are going out of the sport, and i don't know many teams especially in college that have 2 good ones that can be equal blocking threats and receiving threats.
The whole 12 personnel argument is like trying to argue why I should put a square peg into a round hole instead of the round peg that I already have.
Tre McKitty & DW play the same position, there is no reason to have both on the field at the same time.
Give me Pickens, Burton, Rosemy, & one of DW/McKitty over Pickens, Rosemy, DW, McKitty. Basically Burton is more of a stress on the defense than the second TE.
They are going out of the sport?
yes more big WRs labeled as TEs and less traditional inline blocking TEs.
Back in the day TEs were just athletic OL.
Now their just Big WRs.
My new years resolution is to be nicer to other posters and more understanding..... especially to those that are new to the game....
So to this I'll just say OK.
More players leaving early for the NFL?
I kind of agree here. 12 personnel is useful and good TEs are absolute game wreckers, and if we have 2 really good ones I’d run it almost all the time. But if TE continues to be a weak spot on our roster I would hope to see them on the field less. you should have your best players play as much as possible even if it doesn’t fit your ideal scheme IMO.
Could we get back on topic? Any new news coming out with guys like Jackson and Huntley? Is it just kind of dead until they get an official? We still confident in Jones and SVPG?
lol at the DV
Lol We get it. You don’t like TEs and you think Webb should play LB on 3rd and long. Just not sure what that has to do with next to commit.
I mean truthfully there's like... one guy we're waiting to see commit. Jones and SVPG are committed, just not signed.
Next to be committed: Charlie Sheen.
Yea I didn't DV you, I was actually just laughing at the person that did DV somebody trying to get a thread back on topic.
Think he was kind of defending you there.
you've been playing too much Madden
lol
Did we recruit Harrison bailey?
tennessee fans think he is next manning
