Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Conley: Good player. Size and speed. Camped well. Raised his stock. But still wasn't on the top tier at DB. There are a few guys who are. Everyone knows their names here by now.
The first tier at DB all has "The Touch" and realize that when it comes to 'Bama .....then one shall stand and one shall fall.
You can win if you Dare
Potential candidates I have are Flowe, Walker/Dexter, Burton/Jarrett, Paris Johnson. Which year has Kirby failed to "shock the world" in recruiting. All would be a take over JqC.
Id be fine with those, just dont see us taking 2 ILBs in this class.
@JeffSentell What type of odds would you place on Kirby bringing in a 2nd OLB (not DE hybrid like ZWalk) in this class ?
Same for ILB (assuming we take 1 already in Sewell 🤞) what ate the odds for a 2nd ILB ?
Are we really still in it for Flowe, Jarrett and Johnson? Haven't heard anything positive, in regards to recruiting, on those guys in a long time.
I'm pretty sure from the start of this class we didn't even want another OLB, but Sherman was too good to pass up on. I've been told from sources this entire cycle that it is one ILB, no OLB other than Sherman.
Flowe is all CU, I've heard nothing about Rakim Jarret (haven't even asked, don't know if Georgia ever had a good connection here), and for Paris Johnson, from what I've heard he was still deciding because he committed to Urban and Day has really taken over that committment, I would be surprised to see him leave their class.
The best possible board for UGA involves just two LBs for this class. That's Sherman and Sewell. @CZCashvilleDawg I see those as the only two who can push the current abonimations of talent in the Fr./Soph. classes in the ILB/OLB rooms for PT.
If they go down that list, then the whole B.A.P. thinking triggers here. Is the 2nd-best OLB the 30rd-best player on the board? If so, that's not the way this ship has been builit so far. Outside of specialists.
Never believed UGA and Flowe here. Not for a good long while. That young man is going to take the slide everyday at Clemson.
Paris Johnson is not a consideration for this class. Hasn't been since early May. He actually had LSU ahead of UGA in his pecking order, too.
His family is firmly behind his Ohio State decision.
Simple suggestion: Watch "Hedges" every week. You'll know this stuff. Do appreciate the dialogue here, though.
Questions are always welcomed. Always.
I don't expect to get all of those mentioned but:
Flowe is CU (75%) UGA (25%) battle
Jarrett committed on a visit high. When LSU offense is a shambles this year and the Pied Piper is in his ear every practice he may rethink. Burton would be another option at WR
Johnson wanted to come to UGA all along but his family wanted him to stay local. OSU having a less than stellar year will pressure a flip. Their class is also going to be pressed to stay top 5 and they have missed on all the RB that they were pursuing.
Waking up to see this thread had 90 unread comments, but no one had committed is like getting up on Christmas morning with no presents. SVP can't commit soon enough
We need the season to start lol
@Denmen185 I doubt that we land any of those three, I haven't heard anything of the sorts. But strange things happen in recruiting, remind me in December.
Still want that podcast on iTunes. Hard for me to catch the show live.
I do 90% of the time live, 10% rerun on FB. As I have indicated in the past it's the best recruiting show on any platform. That doesn't mean I can't use my own (some say perverse) logic.
