Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

I mean, this 2020 thread has gone to shite. Check this app to see 40 new comments and nothing to do with recruiting.
It has certainly become a catch-all. I gave up hope awhile ago and just accept it for what it is. I had hoped the Sentell thread would avoid a similar fate, but that dream is fading fast.
Also, the irony that this post is an off topic commentary on posts being off topic isn't lost on me.
I do as well. I dont think any of them are elite. I think Hurts is dynamic but not elite. I should've put a /s 🤦🏾♂️
We’re all waiting on a RINGO update!!!!
We’ve tried our best. Some just don’t pay attention or don’t care
Never say never in recruiting, but it is highly doubtful he flips to UF. Gator fans are just upset and in denial that another team is going to go into Lakeland, which is UF territory through and through, and take a 5-star away from them.
If CU or UGA take Arian Smith out of Lakeland, too, they’ll really start going crazy.
If (when) UGA flips Dexter, who’s also from Lakeland, from them...they may disband the whole program
And blame the high school coach for “pushing players away from UF” on other teams for cheating, instead of looking internally at their coaches/system.
To be fair our fan base says the same about Grayson
I think he is hinting at that here haha
I can't detect internet sarcasm until I've had my coffee
We are in a dead period. There is not very much recruiting news coming out right now. Until the ND game with all the OVs two weeks from now, not much new to talk about. If so, it would be discussed and would drown out anything else.
When there is a vacuum of recruiting news, other things will fill in.
If only there were other threads to do that in 🤔🤔🤔
ok - give us a Ringo update - what did he eat for breakfast this morning?
Correct. I read 247’s version of the Monday recruiting info dump and it’s exactly what you guys have heard here for a while, multiple times.
Lots of visitors for ND, Washington, Johnson, Sewell all look forward to getting on campus. The Dawgs are in pole position for all. Gilbert probably not coming to UGA.
Chaney remains a target and is entertaining Dell. I wouldn’t categorize him as a strong flip candidate until we know the deal with Evans, but I’ve maintained that if we want him, we’ll get him despite him being committed currently. I was also told he was the priority after Evans going back a ways. Anyone think the U is giving him confidence right now?
For the flip candidates (Dexter, Lloyd, Ricks, Chaney, Burton), so much of this is about how the teams they’re currently committed to perform on the field. LSU is probably strengthening their commits with WRs and Ricks (see all the passing yards given up, looks like early PT). Everyone else has likely created more doubt and questions. I haven’t received an update on Ricks to be clear, but you have to think LSU’s performance is a plus positive for him currently. Flipping requires a level of negative recruiting, and then highlighting why we’re the ideal choice. Losing games or looking suspect while winning them aids those efforts.
Chaney is my #1 RB, I don't care what the ratings say.
