Ringo doing his official on the big event before ESP?
I think I see the plan, going into the playoffs undefeated and taking over the #1 spot in recruiting on ESD.
It does strike me as a little strange/different that we have 4-6 recruits less than everyone else. What's the deal? @SoFL_Dawg is it a matter of the the staff wanting to let recruits commit on their preferred timeline, or is it more policy where the staff wants to see how the the kids perform in their senior season? Maybe a combination of both? CKS and company don't seem to be too worried, although I recognize they wouldn't show it if they were.
Doesn’t Bama usually do this too? Put in Sewell, Washington, Theo, Ringo and z Walker and it’s close to full
I think Kirby usually has a method to his madness to maximize the impact for the program and the national brand. Look at how he essentially demoralized the whole florida fanbase over the summer by snagging commitments from recruits hot on the heels of visiting Gainesville.
I think it's also worth mentioning that were it not for the off-field incident with Evans, he'd probably be in the committed tally at this point as well.
I think you have to consider who’s left on the board. We’re talking about targets that are in the top 100, those who have earned their limelight. The majority of our targets are in the top 50. Others outside of the top 100, are waiting to see what materializes with the guys in the top 100.
Priority positions left: 1 RB, 2 TE, 1 DL, 1 CB
BPA left: 1 ILB, 1-2 DL, 1 DB, 1 WR
Of the priority positions, I think only RB remains unfilled at this time.
Of the BPA positions, DL, DB, and WR need to be sorted.
So when you’re down to “creme de la creme”, you’re going to patiently wait for announcements when you’re holding the ace begins the scenes.
I get there’s this urge to want to have recruiting mo, but the mo is happening on the field. Recruiting pipeline has been laid. We need a few critical Dec OVs to finalize the class but I wouldn’t worry.
This is what I like to hear. It’s gonna be fun watching how the defensive line recruiting unfolds. Understand that those are HUGE targets, and that it will be tough to pull Burch. It’s going to be a fun next couple of months
Rivals in a recent predictor article has Sewell going to Oregon, Gilbert going to Bama, Evans keeping his options open (A&M gaining ground) and Ringo not a sure thing to Georgia. I'd say that's pause for some Richt Syndrome moments.
I'm not concerned, however. Kirby has proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that he knows how to close strong.
Sofl has mentioned that Our message to Dexter is FU is not close to being a contender and theirs to him is “ you’re the missing link”
I hope not. Not only do I think Dexter is an awesome player but taking FUs prized recruit would be so so sweet.
What do your sources say? We should probably take that as gospel, whatever your sources provide.
Always maintained we need to see a minimum of 3 losses for our messaging to hit home. That business pitch doesn’t look as strong as it did at start of season imo. They continue to win, doesn’t matter how ug.ly it is. They continue to win, and have bounced back from a difficult offseason in which the culture of the program was under attack. That’s when our message resonated most; Dexter even acknowledged that in an article back then. If they beat LSU this weekend, we can probably hang it up. We’ll just be waiting on the official confirmation.
Ya, based off that info you’ve shared I’ve almost given up hope on Dexter since Saturday.
I think they take the L Saturday, another one against us. Need one of Mizzou and SC to rise up. I think if Kelly B. is healthy, they can do it. SC may be able to sneak them if they’re beat up from LSU but I find it doubtful. The QB change saved the season imo.
Kentucky may have made us lose dexter if we think about it😂
While I agree with all that you said, I don't see Florida coming close to winning @LSU this weekend. So they will lose this weekend, lose to UGA, and then who knows..they could drop a game to someone like @SC, @Mizz or FSU.
