Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

I know to not except Gilbert to pick Georgia, but if he really said, “UGA felt like family” like the headline of the 247 article says, then I wouldn’t be surprised at all if he did pick Georgia.
Relationships always seem to be more important than anything else to these young men. Ever since I started following recruiting when I was in college. More important than playing time, more important than potential stats, more important than even winning games.
Anyway, again the phrase family is huge to me because, I’ve never seen a recruit use it and not pick that particular school. Especially later in the recruiting process. Stats are great, PT is great, and winning is better, but if you win the players heart, you always seem to win the player in the end.
Not sure why this was such an uphill climb. Our program is at its highest level in years. He lives an hour away as well. I don’t care if bama had oj Howard (7tds in 4 years at bama) or Irv Smith (10 tds at bama).
Just becuase you dont care about something doesnt take away the facts that Bama has better recent success at the TE position.
(Id love to be wrong on my feelings he is Bama bound. Keep the Ga kid home)
Believe his momma said that
Any reason Carson Beck is still 86% CB to Florida?
Crystal balls aren't worth updating for a 100% committed kid.
Gotcha, well thanks as always for the recruiting info.
Gilbert picks bama tomorrow. hope I'm wrong
The "Experts" get zero points after a commitment unless they have a pick in to another school and the recruit flips to that school. Therefore you will not see CBs being changed to the school he is committed to.
This makes no sense, you feel he is silently committed to UGA but picks Bama ?
Fixed cz. That better.
Take your pick for TE/H-Back/Flex positions for the 2020 class:
Option A) Arik Gilbert and Mikey Henderson
Option B) Theo Johnson and Darnell Washington
Option C) Arik Gilbert and BPA (Arian Smith)
B, because I still don't get the MH thing.
TJ and DW for me all day. Love that Arik is a DSGB but Theo and Darnell become big time difference makers
