I have to believe the Kirby Smart and Coley want to get 4-5 years out of these two amazing QB’s. The only way for that to happen is first for Fromm to start now in 2018 and 2019 and then Fields in 2020 and 2021. In a dream situation Fields takes a redshirt in 2019 (can still play in 4 games) and then starts in 2020, 2021 and 2022

I do not see why Fields would be so upset with a redshirt though his sophomore year? Regardless he is not the starter until the following season and it would not inhibit the year in which he is eligible to go to the draft... it just gives him an extra year to play college ball if he wants to do it.

We will all see how Fromm does this year, but if he does as good as most of us think... Fields will not be the starter in 2019

To have Justin start three years--sounds like the impossible dream.

Fromm is going to finish this year as one of the Top 5 QBs in the country. He will go into his junior year as the Top QB in the country and finish 2019 as the #1 QB prospect in the draft. He will leave UGA early and get drafted no lower than #5. Fields will then take over in 2020 as the undisputed #1 QB and will declare for the draft after that season. Neither guy is going to stick around for 4 years. We need to start thinking about the 2021 season.

No way, he thinks hes the future and the future is now in his mind. Now he knows that he's not gonna leap Fromm this week against S. Carolina, but I think he believes he'll b running out there first by the end of the year and by Coach Smart not publicly endorsing Fromm as his starter suggest to me that his hold on the job maybe tenuous at best
