Happy thanksgiving!!! What’s two dishes you can’t go without on thanksgiving for your family? Mine is probably dressing and hash brown casserole. If either of those weren’t made my family would rage.

    Happy Thanksgiving all.
Does anybody else remember the old tradition of playing The UGA Tech JV game on Thanksgiving ? It was as much a part of the holiday as turkey and tolerating distant relatives.

    Happy Thanksgiving!

We of DawgNation have so much to be thankful for. Our team is showing up, playing very well, and winning! We have remarkably few systemic problems. Our coaches have recruited for football talent, but also for smarts and character. We control our destiny.

We've been winning by huge margins yet we know our ceiling is much higher. Our depth is incredible. Our team is very, very young, but look what it has already achieved. The future looks great.

Kirby is young and loves his job. His family is settled in. They are Georgia born, Georgia bred, Georgia educated, and home!

Our coaching staff is solid across the board.

Our program is the opposite of a dumpster fire. We're the up and coming rising star program still. That's true even though we came within a play or two of winning all the marbles last season. We may be in the Golden Age of Georgia Football, but the best is likely still to come.

Our fans fill our stadium and wear Red and Black everywhere. We greet each other with "Go, Dawgs" and smile.

Things are very good for us.

Bless you and yours this Thanksgiving.

    Go, Dawgs!

Here are three rules that help me get through large family gatherings:

    1. Be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to anger.
    2. Put on a compassionate heart, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience.
    3. Give thanks in all circumstances.

Happy Thanksgiving to all Dawg fans, here and everywhere!

JV game? No, it was the freshmen game. There was a charity attached, but do not recall what it was. Was a big deal. I believe Lockheed flew the C5A Galaxy aircraft over the field as the National Anthem was being played. (May have been the Saturday game. Sorry.)
