    1. is this a huge miss for us or are we in for bigger fish?
    2. also does it seem like most Clemson commitments just come via twitter announcement and never anything big and elaborate?

Looks a little light to be a guard. There is a BB category.

no one looks at it. i wanted everyone to see the basketball program's progression already under Crean.

If you click Discussion heading, they (all Categories) all come over together, higglelly-pigellly (by date, I suppose). Can choose to view or not based on Category or any other reason, with no real effort. But at least they are in the correct category and not in a FB thread. Nothing end of the world, but a little order is nice.

Seems like he wasn’t a big priority from what I gather.
Dabo has a different kind of recruiting philosophy and it absolutely works for him - although they could do better on the offensive line. He locks up a lot of his class early, doesn’t allow recruited commits to visit elsewhere or elsewhere recruited kids to visit Clemson. There’s very little in the way of theatrics and drama (from what I’ve seen) from most of the kids that go there. I think they’ll never be a perpetual top 3 recruiting program because their evaluation is unique and not obsessed with stars. His staff emphasizes a special kind of development and culture that gets the best out of kids. Mike Reed has been mining five star DBs from Georgia for a while. We better hope Manny Diaz doesn’t lock up the 305 or else...

@CZCashvilleDawg I would laugh and laugh and laugh if we actually GET Elam!!! He’d be like about as big of a COUP as was getting the Swamp-lizards DB Coach was!!! PS - I’m not “expecting anything”... but getting that kid could be really great!! GO DAWGS!!!

Speaking as an official Swamp Lizard, many of us actually owe you guys a "thank you" card. Warren isn't a bad coach by any means, but quite a few of us (including myself) were unhappy with the techniques he was teaching. Y'all taking him off our hands allowed us to land Torrian Gray, one of the best DB Coaches in the business. Should be interesting to see what happens with Elam. Seems like both our fanbases feel good about him.

Wasn’t he also ranked as y’all best recruiter? Is it normally common practice to be happy when the best coach and recruiter on the staff bails, especially considering how it went down? Asking for a friend...

I’d agree Gray is a good hire. Should elevate y’all somewhat...isn’t Grantham on year two of DC, though? I’d encourage you to fact check his year two stats at his programs.

    He was not.

I agree that Dabo has a unique way of recruiting and it definitely works. It’s kind of old schoolish.
