Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

You might read this here first: Dwight McGlothern and Maurice Smith. First cousins. 🤔
That’s big, add that with his connection with Cine (and hopefully a big Time OV) and I like our chances.
@JeffSentell How many DBs ( Corner and Saftey) do you see in this class right now ?
Obviously transfers and early entries will come into play down the road.
For @CZCashvilleDawg ...... As of today, I think it might look like .....
Need to sign on offense: 12-13 (of 24)
Need to sign on defense: 11-12 (of 24)
Will be hard to get to 25. Let's see how many guys are having big junior years.

Hornsby is interesting
Thanks @tiger_62082 for sharing!
this is my favorite quote out of the whole thing. While he predicts Evans to go to Texas, this statement personifies what I see at UGA. If true, and if I were a running back it’s what I’d want too, then I really believe we should have a good shot at stealing him out of Texas.
Zach wants to go to a school with a big O-line. He wants to win. He wants a big O-line to run behind and a good foundation with running backs. He wants to go to a big power school.” - Bryson Washington
Interesting CB here as UGA hasn’t offered this 4star ILB.
I didn't think it was weird until I saw it was Rusty. Maybe expecting a big season and be the #2 back in this class? Of course he can switch the pick at anytime. Rusty trying to get the extra points for putting in his pick earliest? Thought it might be some random person picking a GA HS player to go to the home state school, at least that's how a lot of early predictions go.
Rusty isn’t the CB, his is a ? It was Demetric Warren, a usual Scar Guy. And he is a Linebacker, not RB (I’m assuming that’s what you meant by #2 back)
I see, Rusty's picture just popped up when I clicked the link... Then I'll stick with the end of my last comment, some guy picking an in-state kid to go to the in-state school. Happens a lot on early predictions.

We currently sit at 86 committed scholarships so we need to "lose" at least 1 by the time that Freshmen report at the beginning of June. Of the 86, 16 are in their final year of eligibility so in order to sign 24 we need 8 more to leave prior to their eligibility expiring (9 total including the 1 pre-June). I think that 4-5 will declare early (maybe 6 if one of those in year 3 or 4 has a big year). That leaves 4+ entering the portal which will become clearer after G-Day as they are likely Jr or RSSoph who are not on the 2 deep. Maybe 1 or 2 will wait until after the season to decide if they are on track to graduate.
Is it time that the 25 annual limit is reviewed? I ask this because 3 and done seems to be more prevalent these days as S&C programs are more sophisticated than they were 10 years ago. This obviously effects Top 10 programs who lose more to the NFL and have more transfers out in Soph/Jr years due to stronger depth charts leaving 4/5* recruits riding the pine. The 85 hard limit stops over-recruiting and maybe 30 max annual limit with no back/future counting being allowed may work better.
