Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

He is looking to play defense exclusively now. DT maybe NT depending on weight I suppose.
That's rough since this is such a stacked a DL class
Yep, especially since he’s definitely an elite OG, and has 2 years separation from the 18 crew. He’s not too shabby at DT either.
Still don’t think he will be a dawg? @SoFL_Dawg
Haven’t heard anything on him in a while. Official answer is I don’t know. Let’s see who we land or don’t land on OL, and if the pressure is turned up. I recognize Rodgers wants to play defense, but I think Pittman can be as persuasive as those who convinced Rodgers his future (and NFL money) is on the DL. His versatility on the OL remains a high priority.
As for DL, I know Kirby has gotten involved with his recruitment there. That’s an strong indicator we’re interested but with two DTs currently committed, 2 DEs who are likely to choose the Dawgs based on today (Z. Walker and Cowan), and another significant target in Bresee (likely choosing CU), how much room will we have on DL and do we take 3 DTs when those players won’t play outside of 3 tech likely (limited versatility). Keep in mind no one knows the board.
Murphy is an OLB in our system so I didn’t include him here.
Sucks to here Bresee is almost a Clemson lock
Long way to go
Yes I should have emphasized “today”. I try to do that in all my posts but as long as Bresee stays on target with his announcement of ESD, we have a better chance because of the season unfolding. If he announces in offseason CU will win the battle.
the guy that I want the most for this class is flowe. I don’t know why but I just do. I think he could be better than roquan
tall task to get him to sign, even taller to outdue roquan
My rule on Rogers is just get the boy on campus and committed and then signed. We can figure out where he plays later.
You can normally do that with a prospect listed as ATH but in this case, if he wants to be a DL and signs as one, you have to give him a shot there. Otherwise you get leaks about promises taken back or being lied too. (Probably hits the portal quick)
Im hoping Kirby can get him on campus and Pittman can convince him he can get him to the league on the oline.
Or, he signs as a DT and after a year or so and DL isn’t working out (doesn’t hit the transfer portal first) , he pulls a reverse Netori and flips back you Oline.
@CZCashvilleDawg honestly just give the kid a shot where he wants to play first. This could be an easy redshirt year. Very similar to Mecole with the whole DB vs WR debate. Because we all know when the season ends Kirby will do his end of year meetings and the discussion can be had of a switch. But some of this offensive line talk does hinder on guys like Big Ben, Kindley and Wilson decisions on going pro or not this year.
Also if Rogers does sign and becomes an EE you could alternate some practices with him on both sides of the ball and see what he thinks.
While checking the LSU 247 forum for the potential meltdown from the scandal that could be brewing I noticed that Wiltfong started a thread about LSU being in it for Sherman. I don’t have access to see what it’s all about but anyone know if that’s legit or just click bait?
