I’d be happy if Speed and Hunter transferred to another school at this point.
Those guys have pretty much been passed over pretty deep on the depth chart and it may be worth it for them to join him if they have a better chance at starting at OSU.
Id see it as a good thing for them if they can get playing time there.
20 out of 100 players wishing him happy birthday doesn’t show that he was “well liked,” it actually shows the opposite.
How embarrassing is it going to be if he ends up losing a head-to-head with Northwestern with Hunter Johnson their QB? Think about it, Johnson left Clemson cause he was afraid of Trevor Lawrence showing up.
I still stand by my prediction that Fields ends up the 4th best QB in the Little 10 behind Martinez, Patterson and Hunter Johnson....and ends up losing his starting job in year 2 with the Suckeyes. And that is NOT sour grapes talking, just good ol fashion truth.
Yawn.
In my opinion most of the guys on the team like Justin. It's the fans (myself included) that don't see behind the scenes. I was super salty when he first left but now I'm starting to get over it. We have our Qb and we should move on. As far as his performance, he will probably be successful at OSU. It is what it is at this point.
Justin Fields? Never heard of her.
Cuz need to put some moisturizer on those ashy knees.
Yall this thread is so gross. Hes a kid and hes spending spring break with his friends. Yall need to take a step back and realize this kid isnt a monster cause he doesnt play for the team you like anymore. He realized he couldn't beat fromm out and the best business decision for him wasn't in athens after all. He made a mistake at 18. Get over it and grow up.
Thanks, paw. Now I can sleep tonight without a light, not having to worry about him jumping out of my closet.
I never said anything about him being a monster or not liking him even...I was just making an observation. I actually wish him well. But I think he's probably going to be the 3rd best QB in the Little 10, at best. You wanna talk about a 'monster'? ...Martinez from Nebraska is a monster. Look at his #s, with nowhere NEAR the supporting cast that TL or Fromm or Tag-me-with-ravioli had. That kid might win the Heisman. And I'm not a big Michigan fan, but I bet ol Patterson puts up some staggering numbers for the Wolves.
Let's state facts, If the kid was asking me, I would have said, 'Stay put and learn and take over after Fromm with 2 years of solid starting time and be the best QB in the SEC on a championship team....but that's just what I would have done.
Speed's tattoo artist committed robbery
Have 20 of your colleagues ever sent you a birthday card?
You don’t seriously think sending someone a birthday card is the same as saying Happy Birthday on social media, do ya? Pretty weak comparison.
To a young person that is exactly what it is. But fine, "insert example here" (phone call, text, LinkedIn, Facebook), of 20 former colleagues going out of their way to wish you a happy birthday.
I don't wanna go too far down the rabbit hole of JFs IG and argue semantics over what percentage constitutes being well liked. I still like the kid. I hope he does well.
Once sent myself a valentine's card so I would get at least one
You make a valid point. Birthday cards which you have to buy at the store and then mail require the same amount of energy, money, effort, and thoughtfulness as typing two words on your social media account because you were prompted to do so.
I get birthday wishes from dozens and dozens of people on Facebook Ive not actually seen in 30 years, and never really actually liked that well Oh, and I havent made a post on Facebook in 22 months So yeah, it’s the same
A) pitiful
B) thoughtful
C) precious
D) all the above
As a matter of fact, yes. My employees give me a birthday card every year.
I got a cupcake and a half-hearted birthday song. Brought a tear to my eye
