- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

“It will be my second visit there,” Fleming told 247Sports. “Georgia will be in the summer. It was probably one of my best visits. The hospitality is real. It was a wonderful time. I got to meet the players and got to meet the coaches, and it was amazing.”

Looks like that UGA offer made some Waves and crashed the 5 team party here.
A lot of noise on the UTjr boards there is a big commitment coming this weekend. Tate or Jarrett.
Most likely if one of those it would be Jarrett but recruiting is a tricky business to predict so...
I’d be shocked if it was Tate.
Probably jarret. Let them go 4-8 again and watch cade mays 2.0
As long as we haven’t passed on him for reasons I can’t speak on coach hankton will have jarret being a dawg come February
As mentioned above, this will be Jarrett. (Saw a retweet about him needing the OK from his Mom before he made it known).
Long way to go here on signing with this one though. Let the season play out and see if he changes heart.
(Due to the potential positive shift in the WR room depth, and limited space in this class, we could be looking at a 2 WR class this cycle. *Note though we are in line to add two STUD TEs too)
I know that it isnt the "cool" thing to say but of people commit to TENN I'm believing they stay and dont flip.
1. Pruitt is just as good of a recruiter as Kirby.
2. TENN has grest facilities and probably some of the top (and craziest) boosters.
3. Right now TENN is what UGA was when Kirby got there. Not from a talent standpoint but recruiting wise. Pruitt can offer playtime for every position and players can play first day.
Those aren't bad reasons to commit. I'd love to have Jarett as I dont see TENN recruiting RBs and Chaney loves RBs. So I wanna see what plays out. (But I see him in Orange or Purple and Yellow)
all good points, and Pruitt has to show signs of life this year or else playing time won't matter.
Overall I do agree with the premises of your points
Example of a flip - Cade Mays (can happen)
Pruitt is a top level recruiter but he isn’t on the same level as Kirby either.
When Kirby left Bama, their recruiting classes dropped. Pruitt leaves and Saban rebounds just fine. That has to mean something.
Definitely some parallels between Pruitt and Kirby at similar points in their tenure and of course, if you can't back it up on the field, it all ends up moot anyway.
However, one thing I'd put squarely as an advantage for Kirby (besides better home state talent) is the relative stability of the program. Since 2001, we've had two head coaches with a total winning percentage of 74% while they've had an astounding 5 different HC with a middling 59% winning percentage.
That'd be part of my pitch - you may not get the PT you're looking for immediately but if you want a better guarantee for consistent development and success, Athens is your better bet.
Great point, they’re starting from a greater deficit than Kirby. I think UT is 6-6 this year just bowl eligible. So Pruitt is in his first full cycle this class. “We need you/playing time” is likely the message, similar to our 17 class. Is that good enough for elite skill players? We don’t know yet.
We had a magical run though in year 2. Doubtful for them...side note, I HOPE Darnell Wright is at one of the tackle spots next year, especially RT. Darnell vs. Smith, AA, JJ, Azeez=
Point number 2, Yes Tenn has top of the line facilities, which will help them recruit against the mid to lower tier recruit. But with the big boys now, most have caught up and some have passed in this area. This once was there biggest selling point, still is big but not where it once was.
Point 3 - can’t argue that one, pretty spot on. (As @Kasey said, Pruitt better win soon or someone else gets to inherit the roster he is pitching to right now)
Is it possible we could land 2 HUGE guys from the other side of the country (Sherman,Flood, Ringo?)
What's going on here at Georgia since CKS and Co arrived??? One way to describe it....
