Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Thanks fellas and you are correct. Lots of prayers, positive attitude and a good support team is key.
In answer to my own question in the OP. I feel about 40-45 even though I am much older. I hope this lasts for a minute.
Im 36 but i feel 25. Maybe younger.
I got run over by a car six years ago August and messed my hip up pretty bad. Had to have surgeries. I quit going to the gym because I couldn't for about a year and a half and lethargy became a bad habit. About a month ago I got tired of being soft and lazy (sitting at my computer making Dawgnation cartoons all day) and started working out again. I had forgotten that physical exertion is like a happy drug. I feel ten years younger already. Seriously.
Tomorrow is my 47th birthday. I don't feel a day older than 47.
Glad to hear you are back in action. Keep up the good work.
Old enough to know better, too old to care.
Give it a few more years...
Exactly. I didn't really start to feel it physically until I was in my early to mid 40s. Once you hit that, metabolism slows, it's harder to lose weight, and you feel every little bump and bruise. It's harder to heal up than it once was, and I am very careful now about walking and jogging to prevent tripping and falling. I can't imagine how bad it would be now, at 50, for a broken bone to heal up.
26 going on 40
Old enough to have my Medicare card, and I ain't givin' it back!
Broke a big toe while back. Hurt like heck and took a couple months to get over, and nothing you can do about it.
