Haha! That just brought back some memories. Back in 1977-78 I had a Dodge van that I customized. The fad back then. Carpet and felt interior, bed in the back, mini fridge and 8 track player in the overhead console. Bad to the bone.lol! Had the "Dream Weaver" 8 track that I only pulled out for "date night at the drive-in." Thanks for the mind joggle...

Not mine but VERY VERY close to it....

I could explain but you still wouldn't like him. That weird little man was the boss of bosses.

I can actually understand this to a lesser extent. I play a lot of music by ear. So in a lot of cases, what impresses me is how easy a song is to learn and play. The notes and changes and their intricacies and how they can flow but still sound harmonic. This is why I evolved from hating the Beatles to thinking they're amazing. While their songs sound simple, the music is actually quite complex. Another example is The Devil Went Down to Georgia by Charlie Daniels. I'm not sure there isn't a better written and more complex song over the past 50 years.

That's it's secret. Same thing with Techo type music. While I like complex music when I'm focused on it, I also like simple stuff like reggae (well, pretty much Bob only) to play in the background while I'm working or cleaning house or something. I don't really listen to a lot of Techno dance music anymore, but I always liked chill or trip-hop style.

That was really cool. While I'm not the biggest Prince fan, I've always respected the hell out of him. But you can sum up Prince in one word. Talent.

Man some of you have narrow interest and tin ears. I like country, grunge, James Taylor Dylan, The Eagles, a bit of opera, Sinatra, Mozart, The Stones, Da Ramones. Most music of every genre is bad, but most genres have exceptional music as well.

Also if you think Dylan is overrated you just don't have an ear for what he does. You can say soccer is overrated or just be honest and say you're not into it.
