Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Evidently not obvious to everyone. 😂. If he comes on the 31st for an OV I don't think he skips a meeting with Kirby to tweet that he's committing to OSU! I think in that scenario he tweets a "Rusty" video of his commitment to UGA
Sorry I didn’t mean to post anything, can’t figure out how to delete it.
Yes! I’ve lived here for the past 10 years! Attended UGA for a year in 2006

Curious part here is I think Avantae Williams is ours if we push. He’s smaller than what Kirby has targeted at safety position recently (170 lbs at recent camp). I’d like to see him in this class as FL DBs have worked well for our Dawgs.
Xavion is a bit bigger while being in same ball park athletically.
Curious to see what staff decides to do at S, DE, OL, LB, & WR. There are more who want in than what they have for available spots.
FYI If you click on the embed button (the one next to the 'Paperclip") you can paste the link there (click "Insert") and there will be a thumbnail image provided that gives a preview of what is in the link. It will look like this V V. Only takes 2 more clicks to do it. No harm. No foul.
Xavion Alford Junior season:
Avantae Williams Junior Season:
Watching both-Alford more of ball hawking S. Williams-playmaker with ball in his hands, likes to crash down for big hits (needs to wrap up), and probably not as good as Alford with ball in air.
Thoughts?
Personally I’d like more of a ball hawk, I think we’ve got a lot of guys that are strong tacklers and willing to get in the box so to speak, but I’d love to have more of a turnover machine type of player. I think Reese and Cine are going to be very good at getting physical, and Cine’s probably a good blend of both skill sets, but that’s just my preference for this class.
Williams seems to be a similar mold of Richie. (Both good and “bad” parts) He looks like be a tad bit more athletic though based on testing numbers though.
I think Alford paired with Cine / Reese is a better fit. Also has the size to hold up in the SEC a little better too.
@Muffingod as well. Both valid points, like that FL pipeline though. If Williams was a bit longer with 15 lbs it’ll be a no brainer.
Agreed, either or still a nice get
Now for the tough question, if there are only 3 DB spots, 1 taken, 1 reserved for Ringo, would you take the S or the CB (Mcglothern)?
Corner, seems we have more safety type players on the roster vs corners (and a larger corner can always be moved back to a free type). Lock down corners are tough to find so it’s worth the gamble.
