Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Mod Question
Why was the "Mullen leaving Gainesville for DC" thread closed?
Just curious........
Comments
My guess (I didn’t close it) is because it got political after warnings and we are trying to get away from the political stuff
That's what I thought. But didnt the OP start it out political? It just kind of followed that course.
So are all political threads out of bounds?
I don’t mind as long as it stays civil
I agree. I was just wondering. Me thinks there is another "mod" that does not feel that way.
Thanks for the reply.
I’d prefer none, but 🤷🏿♂️
Let’s just stick with the posted rules and tell any mods who think they get to dictate the conversation to take a hike?
Actually, it was intended as 100% joke, and 0% political. Ribbing Mullen was the point.
I understand, but whoever closed it didnt and when it took off in that direction it was immediately shut down. I knew something like this would eventually happen.
Well to be fair he did give a warning and it still happened
You're just a shill for the dawgnation deep state
Its true. Captain Positive @swilkerson73 outed me earlier today
Were there comments which were deleted? No rules were violated, from what is still visible in the now closed thread. Just seems like someone enjoys flexing more than the others. The mods should not be enforcing their opinions as rules.
Dan Mullen - MAGA2020.
I thought it was a decent joke
I have stated this before and will again, @BamaDawg and @Bankwalker , if you have issues with what Mods do on this board, feel free to take it up with @JeffSentell . He's the boss man and if he feels we are not doing things the way he would like for us to do them, he will let us know.
I agree, you have. But I shouldn't have to. I'm not privy to the marching orders that @JeffSentell gave the mods when he chose ya'll. Therefore, I'm not for sure what is right or wrong anymore. Is there something somewhere that prohibits any, or all, political discussion? Or are these things to be left to the eye of the Mod?
I probably won't be popular for this view. Had the same problem when I ran for class president in the 2nd grade (I promised corn dogs for every lunch). Now I know that everyone doesn't like corn dogs.
I'm not going to run to Jeff everytime I disagree with something, however I will point it out.
A pointless suggestion. Jeff mistakenly annointed you because he didn’t have the time to deal with this stuff on his own.
I’ll bet Dollars to donuts that traffic on this site is WAY down since mods were appointed. People enjoy a good train wreck more than church. What did anyone do wrong in the thread that was closed. What rule was violated? Sometimes people just feel the need to remind everyone else that they have power over them Kind of like Barney Fife harrassing the only patrons in an empty parking lot
