Is there a situation where we would pull Akinola Ogunbiyi scholarship for a better guard? I see us taking 5 OL with Ratledge/Jones/Van Pran being locks while I see guys like AO and Braun as projects. I guess what I'm trying to ask is there higher rated guards that we are in it for/ would take over AO. Also, why have we not tried to pursue Damien George 6'6" 350 lbs. OT out of North Shore in Houston, TX that is a good friend of Zach Evans. We seem like an ideal place to take a guy like Damien George. We need the depth, but don't necessarily need him to contribute right away with the likes of Broderick Jones and Tate Ratledge in the fold already. If it could give us a leg up in Zach Evans recruitment, then why haven't when been more heavily involved?

    A. Ryam is who I'm hoping for. Don't know what "lock" means to you. Calling my shot on RBs this class: T.Bigsby/M. Lloyd

    FWIW - Thoughts on Milton.

Both he and his father spoke highly of UGA even before they had been to Athens. He came to GDay and certainly seemed to have a good time and bond with 4-5 other recruits such as Ringo and Sherman. I would be shocked if that trip had a negative impact on his/their feelings about UGA.

He has set his first 2 officials to OSU and LSU for 5/31 and 6/7 respectively. I doubt that he has either in his top 3. The key visits will likely be the 3 that seem yet to be determined. I would feel confident if Athens turns out to be his last especially if the other 2 are set before season's start.

Will be keeping an eye or 3 on Twitter and 247 timeline 😀

I am strictly going of rankings here I couldn't possibly begin to evaluate HS tape to determine if a guy has good technique. I always trust the Pittboss on whatever he is doing and I like both AO & JB. I selfishly was just seeing if we had a chance at signing a better prospect based on rankings, and that's what lead me to George. If you look at his 247 page and look at who hes considering, its easy to see that he very likely wont play at any of those schools except for OK St and Ole Miss. Bama, Oklahoma, & Texas are clearly just going after him as a way to get to Zach Evans. I see him as a Transfer Portal guy after 2 seasons if he does indeed follow Zach Evans. I just feel like Zach Evans is such a rare talent, that we would be kicking our selves in 3 years if we didn't put everything we had into recruiting him & with Dell McGhee and Sam Pittman recruitiing those 2 I would never count UGA out.

If you're looking at just rankings losing Zach Evans would hurt until you see that Lloyd, Milton, McGowan, Bigsby are all guys still being considered.
