- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Very true, but they were not playing WR. We all know we need DT help, and there isn’t more opportunity for CBs to get on the field.
Over/Under on how many days after Ringo’s top 5 Ian revealed till he Commits to the G??
Yeah Jeff, I kinda forgot about him. I really think punters, kickers, and long snappers shouldn't be included in the class rankings since nobody really makes a big effort to evaluate them which kinda cheapens and distorts the whole system. For example the day Zirkel committed to UGA he had 0 stars 0 ranking. The next day he was a 2 star. Right now there are over 14,000 high schools that play football and I would assume that every team has a punter, yet there is only 1 punter in the nation that has a ranking and he is a 2 star. Maybe he is the only decent punter in the country but I really doubt it.
This is the 3* on the roster
I think that the Jury is still out. Of the 20 positional players the best have probably been Kindley, Davis and Reed with to a lesser extent Marshall, Herrien, Simmons, Stokes and McGhee.
@Thelordjohnson can't "Quote" but I honestly believe that Ridley was our best pure receiver last year. I think he was grossly underutilized.
Stokes is a stud. He is definitely a hit. He obviously hasn’t proved it, but I’ve now heard from separate people that Condon looks the part and had a really good spring.
Deandre Baker was a 3 star and did a great job at covering high 4 and 5 star WR's...
He was one of the 15 3* recruited by Richt in 2015. Tae Crowder would be the next best amongst that group. None of these were recruited by the current staff but the hit rate of 2 of 15 is hardly a way to build a championship team. FYI the other notables in that class were Trent T, Godwin, Roquan, Ledbetter, Natrez, D'Andre Walker, J Harris and Stanley out of the 13, 4 and 5 stars. I think it's fair to say that the hit rate there is way better. There will always be exceptions but the better you recruit the more successful you are likely to be.
Agree. Not only are they not well researched, graded, how many would ever be higher than a 3? If that is the case, then they will automatically pull down an average. And most teams will not have a kicker every year so cannot say it balances out for all. So exclude them from the average calculation.
