Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

"Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition."
''It's The Inquisition, The Spanish Inquisition !'' Mel Brooks in History Of The World Part One.
I had the opportunity in 1974 to follow the most awesome old school Pro-Am Foursome; Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer, Jackie Gleason and Bob Hope.
Greg is NOT an alien!! I repeat, Greg is NOT an alien!!!
"Our chief weapons are fear, surprise, and a ruthless devotion to the Pope!"
At 0:43 , 13:32 , 26:49 in a full episode?
At 1:30 "Fear, surprise, ruthless efficiency, and almost fanatical devotion to the Pope, and nice red uniform"
In above snapshot are L-R, Terry Jones, Michael Palin, Terry Gilliam. In the episode are Carol Cleveland (Yum Yum), Graham Chapman, John Cleese, and Eric Idle roughly in that order, with the SI interspersed.
Lumberjack song, Monthy Python
Lyrics were changed from original broadcast slightly to this version:
Michael Palin singing with Connie Booth.
The broadcast original:
Chorus includes Graham Chapman -back row, far right, and John Cleese next to Graham. John is likely just mouthing the words as he cannot sing.

"the Cumbersome Diamond"
The name to me is unbelievably clever. Carl Reiner retells it. First mention is at 51:30, but start at 51:10 and it goes through 52:50. This was a Neil Simon sketch. (Huge diamonds are named - the Hope diamond, The Star of India, etc. - so the Cumbersome diamond is not meant to be descriptive, which is why it is so clever.)
In Living Color was pretty good. Wayons, Carey, etc
Edit: dont know if that's been mentioned yet!
FirePlugDawg - that was hilarious. What an assemblage of comic genius in that room. I recall Sid Caesar making up languages on the spot. Incredible.
With Key and Peele's "I said b-i-t-c-h" as a close second.
