- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Sewell is now a 5
This is the time of year we see all the uncommitted guys jump and all of the top committed guys loose a few spots.
Idk why Beck keeps falling in the rankings
about **** time! Outside of Milton, Ringo and maybe Burch - this guy is my top target.....would love to see a guy like this in a Georgia Uni - can you imagine Nakobe and Sewell running the middle of our defense. Talk about seek and destroy!
He didn’t really fall much, it had more to do with others getting a better score than his dropping.
Top247 moved SVP up 1 spot on 7/15 and then jumped him 66 spots today because....? Think someone else in another thread was talking about how much bigger he looks now (not necessarily good weight). Perhaps Top247 subscribes to the Mac theory of cultivating mass.
Tank bigsby is now the #31 overall player in the composite rankings, just outside the top 5
Industry has to keep the quest for the mythical recruiting trophy alive. Guys who are considered leans to top tier programs will get bumps until they commit. Explains why Burch and Evans both jumped Breese at one point. Pretty sure Breese didn't wake up and forget how to play football
When did they jump Bresee?
Two more CBs for Smith to the good guys
That one isn't actually on Top247 (they haven't changed Bresee's ranking), would have been one of the other services. But interesting that Bresee committed on 4/23 and was dropped one spot on 4/30, giving Evans the top overall spot at the time. Wonder which site was fishing for clicks that day.
Well ESPN is all over the place because they have a small staff now. Sorry, I just don’t buy the recruiting industry conspiracies.
ESPN rankings are rubbish and should be removed from the 247 composite
I think ESPN had to layoff most of its recruiting experts, as they've had a ton of layoffs the last handful of years. Not even sure why they have a recruiting ranking or section anymore, it's awful.
That's fair, in the end it really doesn't matter where a top 10 overall RB from Texas is ranked against a top 10 overall DL from Maryland, whoever gets either of them ends up with great players and then it's up to the college to make the most of the players in their system. I enjoy the recruiting industry banter a lot more than most offseason chatter. Ultimately, I'm still going to follow the ratings because they put a lot of work into analyzing the recruits and re-evaluating for development as they close in on college decisions.
