Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

i saw the other thread started for this visit as well. Temper expectations here. Haven’t heard EJ mentioned since Gday 2018. It would be a fun story to rib the gators even more but EJ likely won’t be our choice for the second RB.
We should all take a second and appreciate what Georgia just pulled off last night, instead of immediately asking "who's next?".
We landed a 5-star RB, Dell's #1 target for over a year, from California. Dell and the staff have convinced Kendall's family that Georgia is a family environment and one in which their son can thrive. It can't be easy sending your boy across the country to go play football, but that's exactly what they're doing. We put all our eggs into the Milton basket, and now we've got our premiere thunder back of 2021 and 2022.
I'll be thrilled to get Evans, or Tank, or somebody else, but good lord y'all. Milton is a stud.
Oh, I'm very appreciative. And greedy.
I felt like that was the general sentiment last night. It was a party for Kendall and for Dawgnation. But just like Kendall's coach was reminding them about 7 am practice... new day, back to work.
Back to the grind.
This isn't directed to the forum members because I think all of us for the most part are a notch above on insider knowledge, but I wish some fans would enjoy the ride instead of trying to jump ahead so much. The comments on the FB stream were driving me crazy. It seemed everyone wanted to talk about how we wouldn't be able to land a top-tier running back like Evans or Bigsby while we were waiting for Milton, a top-tier running back, to announce.
Ringo next to commit? How cozy can you get without announcing?
Is Milton considered a better back than Trey Sanders or are they about equal? Not talking industry rankings per say. I know most considered Emory to be better than Sanders despite the rankings
I would bet my mortgage that he's silent right now. He may be willing to even wait until an All American Game to announce.
I can remember a time not too long ago when we would get 1 recruit ranked in the top 100. Now we get 10 ranked in the top 50!! GO DAWGS!!!!!!
Emery / Milton / Sanders
2020 RB class is stronger than 2019 and currently 2021
I believe so yes. Milton fits our system better. Milton > Sanders. Milton ~ Emery. The vision and balance are exceptional for his size. His ability to jump cut at the line, consistently has to display that on his junior tape (making moves in backfield because of poor OL play), and then explode down field looks like Gurley. He’s not as explosive through the hole, yet. Gurley also has better top end speed but I do believe Milton will be a 4.5 guy.
Watch the below links. 1 is sophomore year where he looked more explosive and simply got to hit the hole (which he’ll be doing here).
Junior year we see more vision as he has to make a cut and bounce or hit a secondary window because of poor OL play.
All I know is that the skill set that Milton brings is ideal for UGA style of play. He is direct when needed and patient when appropriate. Evans is a game changer but as mentioned earlier has a tendency to run laterally too much for SEC play. Not saying I don't want Evans just that I feel Milton is/was key to get for a pro-style offense. If you look back at Sony's Ga career in the early days he didn't recognize the need to sometimes bulldoze his way forward. In his last 2 years he was much more physical when needed without looking for the gaps to exploit.
Recruits sometimes make a sport of misdirection, I hope it means something but I'm not convinced.
My favorite line from reading the Florida Board on Milton has to be, "they still cant beat UF (even though they beat us 2 times in a row)."
Like what does that even mean? That's some classic UF logic right there. #rentfree
It’s a joke that went over your head
