I understand why some hate the black jerseys. It was the jerseys that got blown out, not the ill prepared, deer in the headlight team. So logically, UGA can never ever, ever wear those jerseys again because we will lose. Those are the facts and we have to deal with them.

Exactly. And when the Dawgs trounced Auburn and Hawaii the jerseys bad juju somehow did not defeat us.

@DGD1992 agree. We won a Sugar Bowl in those jerseys. I think the "bad mojo" is off after that. The 08 loss to Bama s u c k e d. No other way to around it, but the loss wasn't because of the jerseys. Some in the fanbase can't let that game go for whatever reason. IMO every time we play Bama we should wear the black jerseys(If we're able to). And for those that say fake juice, you would be correct, if it was 2014, but we are in a new era and CKS is much more prepared. We haven't lost an SECE game in over 2 years. The bottom line is the kids love the jerseys, so they should be able to pick which game(or 2) they want to wear them in every year. And CKS can approve based on performance in practice or classroom.

Haha! More black jersey talk....we need to start a "red jersey curse" thread and get that in the superstitious Dawgs' heads, and we will be playing in black all of the time! 😂 🤣 😂 We have lost to Alabama the last four times in red. Three of those losses kept us from a Natty or the playoffs/final. They were much bigger games than the blackout loss in '08, too. We lost to Pitt in 82 in red. We were number one going into that Sugar Bowl and would have been Champs with a win there. We won the 17 SECCG and Rose Bowl against Oklahoma in white, and then lost to Bama in red. No doubt, it's the jersey's fault!! /S!

BTW, and for the superstitious, if we make it we will be in white this year at the SECCG, so no doubt we will win this year because we won't be in red.😂

BTW, my solution would be to give the players two home games a year. The players' leadership council combined with the seniors get to decide which two games are blackouts. They are the ones wearing the uniforms. The coaches don't wear them, and neither do the fans. They don't get to design new uniforms; they get to wear the traditional UGA jersey colors of the last 100 years--red, black, and white. All three are fashion and all three look fantastic! None of them affect the outcome of a game, though. That's 100% on the players and coaching.

@DGD1992 also, enjoy the games this year. It's a great home slate and you will be there in person to witness the beatdowns that the Dawgs will be handing out this season. I'm extremely jealous.

Let's not insult our Catholic guests. We should be good Baptists, maybe serve a nice spread after the game, I'll bring potato salad.

At explain your faith day at a middle school a Jewish girl stood in front of the class and said, this is a Star Of David, A Catholic boy then stood in front of the class and said, this is a rosary. Next came a Baptist girl, she stood in front of the class and said, this is a pot roast.

I would rather be safe than sorry...We are too close to the Promise Land to go and fudge it up by throwing in those danged black jerseys

The Power G at the top looks like a watermark where they may have spent a little more on the production of these tickets to help reduce counterfeit tickets.
