Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Agree to disagree on EJ. Good player, no longer good enough for UGA imo at that position, but if staff goes in on him, he’ll have my full support.
Evans very well may be being tested right now by staff. Not only has he been humbled, he’s facing the adversity from his own actions right now. It’s very possible Dell and Kirby are monitoring how he’s responding to this adversity. If he makes it in this class, I don’t think we’ll have any problems whatsoever. He’ll be a productive student and heck of a RB.
Based on what I’m hearing, I’m going to disagree on Dexter. I don’t think he’s any different from any other top recruit that’s not like Dom Blaylock. He’s a typical kid, and wouldn’t be a priority target if he wasn’t. What we need here is fu to start losing some games. The pitch staff is providing is supported by the programs headed in opposite directions. We’re pitching a business decision to him and that’s how we’ll win this battle, with their help of course.
I missed a few weeks on here. Can you elaborate on the Evans situation? when I left, there was rumors he was set to commit.
Too much to type bro, the gist: he was suspended, he’s getting back in good stances. We’re still recruiting him.

How might that work as far as staff "agreement" ? Does the position coach's vote count "more". I would imagine Kirby's counts the most. Does it have to be unanimous? A majority? How often would there be disagreements? Again. assuming more disagreement on 3* than on 4" or 5*. How often might they disagree on 4* ? Just curious.
I mean that's about all the info I need lol. Got it
Honestly don’t know if there’s one answer; I think it’s situational. I think Kirby gives staff the autonomy to build and sell their board. Positional coaches also battle for numbers, trying to justify why they should be afforded a spot over another. At one point this cycle it was thought Pittman would get 6 OL. I think Kirby has his input but I’m not sure he dictates the final answer. I’m positive there are many passionate discussions especially once BPA situations arise.
Liked his film as he showed good vision as in seeing the holes and following his blocks. Also a determination in his play that I liked. Seems like a smart runner.
Never been good at 'rithmatic, but I count 3 in the 7 spot, but 8 means we only take 2. Am I missing something? I did go to public school in Macon, after all...
Picked up 2 CB for Washington -> UGA today. Now 8 UGA, 1 Bama, 1 Cloudy
I was just trying to outline who I personally think will commit in some type of order without providing a timeline. As far as line 7 goes, I think we sit very good with 4 of those 5. Doesn’t mean all will be in this class though. 1-2 really talented players will be told “we’re full” at year end. 1-6 l, I just believe these will be “public” announcements before the guys outlined in that 7 spot.
My guess is #s 4&5 don't make the class. I like the looks of the first 4 names in #7's line. No I don't have insider info. Just wants and what I've read.
thanks.
It's interesting that UGA would take an official visit from E.J. Smith on such a big weekend when they've had to turn away many others. If he's not a take then the only reasons I could see him consuming valuable time and resources are:
Its a brand business thing. There are kids committed elsewhere coming. Its a top event to be at so why wouldnt UGA show kids the event. Its a trickle down effect... it'll be on their social medi -> Kids ask about it -> The kids promote the experience -> Future kids wanna experience it.... Its a business at the end of the day.
I hope Florida (aka Baha Georgia) takes note of the E.J. Smith visit.
