Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

My hot takes:
1) Bresee’s girlfriend cheated on him with Jamil Burroughs; we sent Burroughs packing and Bresee is all Dawg now. Win Win.
2) Zach Evans tried to fight a coach, but got stuffed because he needs to hit the weight room and grow some. Dell let him know he shouldn’t take Mike Gundy literally: “He’s a man He’s 40!”...but that doesn’t mean you should swing on a coach just because they have old man strength.
3) So Flow (Coach Coley) shows some of these ridiculous posts to players and they all have fun clowning on us: “Man, our fans are so dumb, but I love them anyway.”
4) Noah Sewell next to commit. Because I’m typing it into existence.
/s (Because some of you need to see this in order to not explode)
The classic,” it’s not me, it’s everyone of your sheep followers” lines. You’re really doing the lord’s work exposing the corruption of supposed “insiders”.
This is not on the coach.
Well SoFL DID say "if we can flip Bresee, we could flip Bowman". and he also said there's some names that he knows has potential to be a big-name-Kirby-flip-special. Hmmm.
I get it. But I'm very familiar with this situation. Evans screwed up. It's on him.
Don't really want to get into it- so much has already been said.
But the most important thing for Zach and any teen age kid that makes a big mistake - is how they handle the discipline and do they change. Every indication is that Evans is trying to do the right thing.
But you are assuming what did/didn't go down. There have been kids who just flew off the handle and did something rash, even while someone was attempting to talk them off the ledge. Blaming the coaches without details is lazy at best.
As I’ve told the members of this forum several times, “hold my info accountable”. The reality is the that you do follow me. I thank you for the support and motivation.
This site generates 400K+ views daily. If you’re going to be bold enough to put something out there, you better know what you’re talking about. Go all way back to the 18 cycle and fact check me bro. Let me know what you find out. That doesn’t change the fact that you and I both know you don’t know ****. My singular purpose this afternoon has been to put you on blast so everyone else knows that you don’t know ****. I think I’ve succeeded so I’ll let you get back to fact checking with your sources. Going forward remember...come correct. That goes for the rest of the dudes like you too.
Please.NO CLOWNS
Tex doesn't like heights, elevators and clowns. No more clowns.
No clowns?
You must REALLY hate Dan Mullen.
I shocked asshats got through the censors.
ZW is next.
If Evans did in fact want to commit to UGA recently and was told to hold off until he took care of his personal issues, do you think that will have a negative affect on him signing with UGA? Or could it be looked at as more of a positive, in that we are more concerned about Z Evans the person, first, and football player 2nd?
Kirby isn't gonna go easy on a kid because he isn't getting touches.
If this problem is showing up at the HS level, history would suggest that it's only gonna get worse down the road.
Disclaimer: Everyone is different
I'm assuming that's why Dell went down there this weekend. He had given the kid 3 weeks to get his act together, and Dell was able to talk to many people in and around the program. He probably talked to the most inconspicuous people he could find that know Evans and deal with him on a daily basis (teachers/janitors/cafeteria workers/etc). If you don't think he would waste a trip down there just to do this, then I can't help you. Team chemistry is more important that star ratings, if this kid was gonna be able to clean up his act then he was good enough to take. But the sum is not greater than the whole, and if bringing in Zach Evans meant high potential for locker room issues down the stretch, then Dell needed to go down there to get eyes and ears on the situation so he could gain some first hand knowledge rather than the second hand stuff the staff had been getting. If we need to seriously consider moving on from Evans Dell & Kirby needed to know now, so they can shift their time and resources elsewhere.
As has been said previously by insiders: there was nothing left to "pitch" to Zach Evans in order to get him to Commit To The G. He wanted to commit, but couldn't put himself in a position to be able to commit.
The unknown of the details are obviously now known by staff, and if they feel like it's best to move on, then so should the rest of us.
We have now wasted 8-10 pages on a player that probably won't be in the class unless Hell freezes over.
I think that is what I was trying to say maybe not well. I Just am not ready to write off a kid because of a dumb mistake. I also think It is understandable that a kid who has preformed at a high level would be unhappy at not playing when his team is getting beaten. I would not want a kid that did not care. So I would be very careful around him at that time.
I don't really know that answer. I'll add that although I'm very familiar with the situation (the incidents) and a little about how he is doing since - I rely on @SoFL_Dawg information concerning his recruitment because I just don't really
I feel that if Zach doesn't sign with Georgia it was a staff decision.
I'm sure that Kirby and company are concerned with Zach and want him to make better choices - but I think they are very concerned with their locker room.
A&M does not have the luxury that Georgia has. Georgia could certainly use Zach but they don't have to have him. A&M really can't afford to lose Zach and will probably be more lenient.
A kid being upset about not getting touches should not go after a coach. Ever. Period.
