I get that OU wants him, but OU also has a different offense than UGA.
I feel like it will take Mikey Henderson 18 months at least to get acclimated to the SEC and TE position in UGA's offense.

You know that AtlVol is a troll right? Like he literally does this thing every year but has a caveat that he can’t predict last minute changes so that he gets a free pass when they miss on someone that “had agreed to terms”.

I haven’t heard of this guy, but most high school QBs are typically QBs because they are the best player on the field. See Mecole Hardman. It bodes well that he plays out of position and still being sought after by major programs.
Love that he is strong in the weight room too. Same reason I’m super excited about Jalen Carter. Strength and proper lifting technique translates well to all levels of football.
To all the people freaking out: TRUST THESE COACHES!! They have proven time and again that they can evaluate talent.

Our class may be ranked #1 or it may be ranked #6. But Kirby and staff are working their tails off. But guess what. Other coaches are working really hard as well.
And I'll do my best to get tickets to the SEC CG, or the Outback bowl, or the Belk bowl if it comes to that. I'll support my Dawgs.
Maybe I'm a sunshine pumper, or nieve, or the real problem because I don't demand perfection. Maybe I'm not a "realist". Or I could be a simple minded idiot - which is what a parent called me one Friday night when his son didn't play.
But I don't believe Georgia is entitled to every recruit, the number one recruiting class, an undefeated season or a nation championship. I just believe they should be one of about 10 schools that are in the running every year. And we are.
I don't know everything about football - far from it. But I do know enough to know that the coaches on Georgia's staff are much better talent evaluators and coaches than I am.
And, although I coached longer than many on here have been alive..... and played HS and college football - I end up learning as much from other knowledgeable posters on Dawgnation than what I'm able to provide the forum myself.
But one thing is for sure.......I know enough to know that some on this forum don't understand the game or talent evaluating at all - even though they constantly post their opinion. And the more they post - the more they prove what little they know.
But I smile knowing that I will end up enjoying my Georgia Bulldogs football season more than those that can't seem to find joy in much the Dawgs do on or off the field.
To those numerous Dawgnation members that contribute to this forum - whether it's positive or negative info (certainly need to hear the negative for appropriate discussions) - please keep posting - because this old football guy looks forward to learning more about the game and my Dawgs.

This happened last October too. Mid season malaise. Hard to figure out why we get this way, considering we’re halfway through the regular season and the offseason feels interminable.
Just saying.
I fully trust @SoFL_Dawg's info. For one thing, I have no inside, outside, east side or west side info. Secondly, besides not calling enough slants, he is right more than not. That said, I am still holding out home the siren song of home yields UGA a commitment tonight in Mr. Gilbert. If the news is otherwise, best luck to him. Hopefully we end up with a combo of DW and MHjr, as t sounds like TJ may prefer Happy Valley to The Classic City.
No matter what happens tonight, I will still stay true: GO DAWGS!
