Any new news on Burch?? He visited LSU last weekend
Dunno.
LSU is a really scary on recruiting trail right now. Between their team being the “IT” team, exciting offense, crazy game day atmosphere and, of course the locker rooms (LOL).
I am guessing if LSU can keep this going they could close like a freight train in December.
This is the hardest recruitment to gauge in recent memory. Still think UGA should be viewed as the favorite, but LSU does give reason for pause. Very doubtful he goes to USC, especially after they go 1-3 down the stretch to finish the year 4-8.
Fwiw, I’m feeling increasingly less confident that Burch takes an official visit to Clemson. He still may, but just based on some things I’ve been told recently surrounding his situation and some things that happened over the summer between him and the staff, I think Clemson may ultimately go in another direction entirely. For example, Trenton Simpson was on campus this weekend and I expect him to receive an offer. All offers are committable, and there would only be room for him OR Burch..could be telling if he gets that offer.
Also, Clemson is the only school he hasn’t visited so far this season among the contenders, despite being the 2nd closest. Don’t know how interested he really is. From what I’ve been told it was like pulling teeth to get him on campus for the All-In Cookout in July. Don’t think Burch ends up at Clemson at this point.
If they beat Bama in Tuscaloosa watch the fall out in recruiting. LAU will probably pick up even more steam.
LSU always recruits well and kids often stay in state to play. They might pick up a couple extra, but there are plenty of talented recruits to go around. UGA will be fine on the recruiting trail.
I saw somewhere from an LSU fan that they are getting very tight on numbers so unless some guys start getting dropped there’s no way they can take these guys that they’re getting buzz on.
They just took BJO from the Vowels, some are saying to get AG. They literally can’t take everyone lol. Should be a lot of movement. Wondering about those WRs they have committed. Burton and Jarrett.
Great point. People wonder if a certain team losses or gains recruits based off a win or loss on the field.
There may be some movement.......but it's very low. Teams can only take just so man kids. And recruits aren't overly concerned with teams records.
However, recruits are very concerned about the future of a program...especially likely hood of a staff returning or not.
Visit count so far in 2019 for Burch: Georgia 5, Clemson 1.
@ClemTown -- Did I miss any of them here? That seems fairly telling.
He gone.
To UGA that is.... :)
Very true. Kirby lost 5 games in year one, with losses to Ole Miss, Vanderbilt and Georgia Tech. He followed that season up with the #3 recruiting class in the nation, with guys such as Isaiah Wilson, Jake Fromm, Swift, Lecounte, Andrew Thomas, Monty Rice and Stokes. Not to mention the highly recruited guys that are no longer on the team, like Gibbs, Holloman and Bishop.
Yep, tracking the visits is always important, and UGA is fully in line to receive an Official as well.
Did some homework on CJ Stroud and I definitely wouldn’t mind bringing him in to compete with Beck. He’s not going to beat you with his legs often but he has some escapability in the pocket and his game kinda reminds me of Gardner Minshew. Very interested to see how we wrap up this class.
Burch released a top 5 of Uga, CU, USC, LSU, and Bama. Nothing new here. I like the dawgs chances
We have a secret weapon. An iwant sn that’s 3-0
LSU doesn't have water slides, or mini golf. Neither do we. I hope that doesn't mean anything. But it might. Probably not. Who knows? He's too quiet. Maybe it does mean something. The silence is deafening. Doubt it means anything, though.
I thought we had a water slide at the BBQ?
1980’s era slip and slide.
