Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

I felt like I knew who most of the rest of this class was going to be, but it starting to get a little cloudy. Am I wrong?
I still feel fine about Ringo and Walker.
I'm a little worried about DW because I don't know enough about his "incident" last week.
I like our chances with Sewell, but Oregon send like a real player.
I also like our chances with Burch, but who knows with that kid. He's hard to read.
Theo is starting to feel like he's going elsewhere, Iowa?
Then it's a bunch of maybes. Smith, Stroud, Evans.
Other than Ringo and Walker, should I feel 90 percent confident in anyone else?
To be very frank, if he doesn’t receive a Clemson offer today or tomorrow, he will shut it down at UNC this weekend.
I didn't mean for it to read like getting Sewell is unfortunate. He is a stud and I hope we land him. I was saying that if we don't land Sewell, then unfortunately we will not be pursuing Simpson, or any other ILB and that spot would go elsewhere, such as BPA, or different position.
Not much has changed tbh. If it seems quiet here, that’s the reason. All we’d be doing is reminding people that every year they have doubted this staff. Every year something happens/or could happen on the field that will cause the house to fall. It’s all BS and the house isn’t falling. @JeffSentell lets everyone know of new offers going out, as it’s his job, but that doesn’t mean things have changed. Staff will complete their due diligence and offer players to keep irons warm; GA state players have been slow played because their offers aren’t currently committable and it’s bad optics when staff offers but doesn’t accept.
As of today, until I “hear” differently, I still believe we will sign 24 with a BS for Zirkel. I’m not getting caught up in the industry/social media noise as I did that last year and was a waste of energy. The flukey things this year, centered around character questions for high profile players, no one can anticipate these situations arriving. That’s impacted who’s committed and who’s not today. That said, there’s no need to question this staff unit when it comes to recruiting. As a reminder...
LOVE where we’re at with:
LIKE where we’re at with:
DO NOT Like where we’re at with:
If I didn’t list them, I haven’t heard about them. Meaning, I don’t think they’re a real option “currently”.
If all goes well and we get our complete class, that's a composite score (today) of 326.39, best all-time.
Conservatively, with a RB and TE swap, we go to 324.26, 2nd best all-time.
@CZCashvilleDawg when are you gonna get that pic Sewell just posted up?
I gotcha...

Not @CZCashvilleDawg but I know a little bit. Bet he's got the Gators on his mind this week.
@JeffSentell - apologies if you’ve covered previously in a past article but would be cool to see a behind-the-scenes piece on the program’s graphics team that generates all of these excellent recruit edits/marketing pieces and the role they play in the branding & recruitment of the players.
Feels like in-house media shops have evolved into yet another way to differentiate a program in its pitch to recruits vs other schools the way they might with practice facilities, weight rooms, locker rooms, etc
Either way - give the guy who came up with the Samoa-G edit for Sewell a gold star ⭐️
Sewell's formal commit will come when? Or does a picture now replace words for the Gen Zs?
@SoFL_Dawg just to clarify. I DO trust the staff. I do NOT trust 18 year olds. 😉
Nevermind I see we sent it to him lol
Welp nevermind here on Simpson, between the CBs rolling in and @ClemTown ’s insight via Clemsons side, this one looks to be in the books for UNC.
Good for Mac, hope he builds a team able to rise up and challenge Clemson.
Secretly they already challenged and that QB is young and coming. And the defense will be infused with a lot of talent next season
