We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

@SoFL_Dawg where do we go with What woulda been Swell’s scholarship moving forward? WR? QB? RB?
Sooo no 2nd RB, & now no Sewell which I’m pretty sure @SoFL_Dawg said it was Sewell, or bust. Sewell would’ve been a great addition to an already stacked linebacker room, but no reason for us to think the sky is falling. I will say this class has been different then others, staff has for sure missed on a few.. But that’s what happens when you’re recruiting in the national level, & not just trying to get the in state kids to come.. you swing & miss on a few. Still plenty of big names on the board so who’s next??
Y’all don’t forget that we also have Rian Davis from the 2019 class who was ranked 89th overall player in the composite rankings.. we will be more than fine at the LB position.
I would stay also that things like this happen when you target the elite of the elite on a national level. Sometimes you pull a Milton from Cali or Isaiah Wilson from New York. Sometimes you get beat out. If there's anything I trust kirby and this staff with it's recruiting. Don't know what else they have to do at this point to earn trust from the fanbase. Top 3 classes 3 consecutive years. Trending that way again this year.
So that Stroud is on campus for an official, what’s the chances of us landing him??
Holy helI people. Simmer the F down. It's fine to be disappointed. We all are, but dam. This is how big boy recruiting goes. You don't just pick the 25 best kids and then everyone also gets to pick next. We're chasing the best and so are the other best programs in the country. How do you think those team are the best? Because they're really good at recruiting too.
Think about this. Any player we're pursuing typically has a top 5 of us and 4 other great programs. So, we're 1 of 5 programs chasing this kid which means the odds of getting him are 20 percent. The other 4 programs all have top coaches too, otherwise they wouldn't be top programs. Now look at the hits and misses on the trail for us. Are we above or below 20 percent? Spoiler alert, well above. This staff is the best recruiting staff in the country, but that doesn't guarantee they never lose out on a guy.
Be disappointed all you want about Sewell, he's gonna be awesome we'd love to have him. But please, for the love of Herschel, don't come on here with we're gonna miss on everyone left on our board. It's a ridiculous take.
Ringo is out there retweeting Sewell's Oregon commitment is making me nervous.
BPA available names just move up a spot. Highly unlikely they’ll be another LB added.
For those dropping Simpson out there, staff didn’t heavily go after him when he decommitted. It was Sewell or Bust, in this case bust.
all these guys do that. Nolan Smith was doing that last year
Sewell announces yesterday that he's going to Oregon. Saw in another thread that @dawg got accepted early action to the good guys. Related? Is he our super secret commit? Follow the posts
Yep. I know.... still nervous though.
SVPG. Just doesn't sound right without the S
SEC East Champs for the third year running. In the CFP conversation for the third year running. Elite recruiting for the third year running. Guys on the current team in the conversation to be first round draft picks. Five star guys coming off the bench.
More underperforming, please.
Obviously I was caught off guard on Sewell. I had him in the 90% category.
Ringo, Walker, Washington are in that category too. If we’re losing ground on the trail behind the scenes with these guys I don’t know about it. I don’t think we are.
I think Oregon was the leader for the longest up until the summer. We got involved and it shifted to UGA. The OV may have been too long ago. Their pitch of letting him play both ways could’ve been impactful. Add back in the fact they’ve been there the longest and finally the season they’re having and his brother being there. It happens gents. He is arguably the best player we were targeting despite being at a luxury position. Not much I can say on this one. My info was wrong.
@SoFL_Dawg With Sewell going elsewhere, who do you have as the next person(s) filling his spot?
