Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans

- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

I believe 247 has Dontae Manning on an official visit the same day.
I'm sure a thread will be made when we get closer and more information becomes available.
Read somewhere yesterday from an interview with Tank and he said he has shut his commitment down and wont be taking anymore visits. I'll try and find that article.
This headline has a typo. Florida is our biggest rival and if you try and argue otherwise you’re wrong
TIFWIW, will not likely be confirmed by media outlets. Just heard Gervon Dexter made a secret visit to campus last week. All this means is there’s a chance, nothing more.
Because of how the season played out, this will be an extremely difficult flip, but there’s a chance.

Alabama looking at a new TE target. I hope that’s a good sign for DW
Saban is going in home this week I believe. Not a good sign for them knowing they are playing catch up.
Every one reading about the Gervon Dexter news . . .
Wanted to share this as well regarding Burton.
Im not saying Burton will flip, but this is one to watch. Hearing LSU may ironically be cooling on Burton. There’s speculation of Burton not being able to qualify. With their recruiting MO, they’re opening up spots and the uncertainty could be contributing here (I don’t know what they’re doing to be clear, just sharing what I heard). This is the same speculation that led to numerous transfers at the HS level, transferring to stay eligible to play. Don’t know the transcripts but Pickens got in. I’m never writing a player off again due to that.
If he’s able to qualify here at UGA, if it’s even close, I think he’s worth the risk. Hear me out.
We all know the talent he has, we all know the red flags. Assuming no one is BB in this class, assuming Burton would flip, assuming it wouldn’t adversely impact Rosemy, and assuming we’d land A. Smith (since the elimination of CU I believe we will), thats 7 pass catchers (5 WR and 2 TE). This allocation of spots in a smaller class is unheard of but considering what we’ve actually “seen” from those on campus, this move makes a lot of sense imo. Landers we can lean on his history to predict the future. Bush remains a mystery. Tongue is positionless, albeit very talented and has come on in scout team recently. My favorite player Pickens has had some moments that cause pause, Drob could be gone, and back to back years KJ has missed games due to injury. We have a depth challenge despite being talented within our youth.
These 7 guys fill every hole and need going forward. We’d add 2 WRs capable of playing both Z and X immediately (Rosemy and Burton both immediate impact players). These two are a combination of possession and play making WRs.
We add top end speed in Wren and Smith, both faster than Hardman, with Smith being a 4.2 guy.
We take a developmental player in Robinson who arguably has the highest ceiling.
We gain versatility in Wren to potentially add value as RB and ST as we likely only take 1 RB.
We completely change the room at TE and if it’s DW & TJ, both could push for starting time immediately.
I recognize what this does to #’s, have to eliminate another defender, maybe only taking 2 DBs (adding Ringo obviously) but looking at it here, I feel like it’s worth the risk.
Thoughts?
At this point, we need the horses in the WR room. All I keep thinking about is how different our offense would look if we had just one of these three still remaining . . . Godwin, Ridley, or Hardman?! We've seen how difficult it is to stop an array of deadly pass catchers. So I say take 7, assuming those names mentioned are the one's we can sign. Otherwise, BPA.
I agree, we need a more offensive heavy class this year cause the majority of the guys that we have on the team have not developed as we thought they would have at the pass catcher positions.
