Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

What promise did Coley give Washington and Johnson?
Lol, 10-20 touches per season. I think Cook should get at least 10 touches per game. But I’m just a guy who watches on TV and goes to a few games so I don’t know anything. When he gets north and south with a lane, he makes others look like they’re moving in slow motion.
I said Hartley. And I had read in @JeffSentell article about TJ that the pitch has been that the talent/athleticism isn't quite there and that if he came to play at UGA, there would be more production at the TE position. He talked on his relationship with Hartley and how he trusts him. I believe the pitch is the same and universal with DW.
Gotcha....that makes sense.
Just didn't know about the word promise. Recruiters that make promises don't last very long.
The question is.....does Rivals really have something or is this a push to sell subscriptions?
Burton and Dexter were both confirmed to be in town, stated on here multiple times
yes and no.
they're always trying to sell subscriptions. but they also have great people working there who get scoops and provide good info. Jake Reuse and Trent Smallwood are very good. They also do good film analysis. And if you need an ad read, you can't do any better than Radi "these guys are dawg fans" Nabulsi
Jordan Burch, next to commit
I hear ya. But I am of the strong belief that TE usage will see an uptick with those guys and the TE Train will be heavily led by Hartley pushing for more usage. Because no one wants to be called a liar. If he recruits these guys telling them they would be the start of something great for the TE Position and increase the usage, he will absolutely push for more plays going to them.
Same goes for these WRs, once staff feels confident in them after they come in, I can see a more balanced offense. Most definitely will if Jake Fromm returns. May be more like 2017 if he doesn't and we have a brand new starter.
Recruiting is so much fun.... it is razor thin and there are so many different ways to build a program. Just like pro leagues and drafting. There are so many different strategies and tactics.
I see it more along the lines of flipping rooms. Look at what PittBoss did to the OL. Or Scott to the DL. Or Schumann/Lanning to the LBs... you get a huge influx of kids and turn a whole room over. You do it once, and then you just have to fill in here and there to keep your unit elite.
This is how you go from rebuilding to reloading...
Look at our ILB room. Adding Sewell would have been icing on an already great cake. Same with Burch/Dexter to the DL room. We can play next year, but either of these guys make it BETTER. QB is good now, but adding Stroud makes it BETTER. You can make the same argument with OL, CB, S and RB.
The only room that you cannot make that argument right now is WR/TE. And yes, I like Robinson, Wren and Rosemy, but adding Smith AND Burton would be awesome. Flip the room. Even if Burton does not work out, we are still set. Getting Theo and DW change the TE room for sure.
This sets us up to reload at every spot from here on.
Unless we have a WR year like we just did... then you do the same thing. Take 7-8 bites at the apple.
I agree with what you are saying.
Just don't think Hartley is promising anything. If a coach starts making promises to my son during recruiting......we'll look elsewhere.
That was what I was saying. But I don't want to make any bigger deal about it because that wasn't what you meant to suggest.
I posted earlier the cliff notes version of what it said
Hearing Kirby is going to see Jahmyr Gibbs today.
Per Rivals updated rankings, looks like Tank is now a 5* . Hope he doesn't come back to bite us, having to play him every year.

Zach Evans delayed his announcement. Still time??
