Does it worry anyone else that Kirby may think he can recruit his way out of the offensive issues? With his emphatically saying that the WRs were why the offense was bad..and even saying that he is responsible for recruiting the kinds of WRs needed.

In fact he said that the difference between LSU and the Dawgs, between Burrow and Jake, was that we didn't have the same personnel. That we ran a lot of the same plays.

He obviously doesn't want to fire Coley and thus far he's just replaced Pittman. I think many of us are a bit skeptical that he's going to make any real changes to the staff now.

Now there's the late emphasis on WRs and offensive players in general but unfortunately this late they're having to scrounge. Pretty sure we'd heard that Burton was kind of a guy we had cooled off on awhile back and now we're offering all sorts.

Is Kirby like a GM who thinks he can change one side of the ball in a draft? If so, has this staff shown the ability as currently made up to suddenly start developing offensive weapons?

I really hope we didn't process Corey Wren just to whiff on Burton

This is great and all until we can’t convert 3rd and short or not being able to punch it in from the goal line ie... the Florida game two years ago.

Has anyone seen any pics/social media from the Ringo home visit?

Saw one Ringo posted from the Texas visit and now this one overnight from the Oregon staff.

Would seem that no post of the UGA visit means one of two things:

    A) Ringo is a Dawg and keeping up appearances with Texas and Oregon

    B) UGA is out of contention

I’m taking the positive outlook here and guessing “A” but B would really be a bummer at this point

The thread about UGA visitors this weekend continues to state that Ringo is expected to take an official visit this weekend. If we have not already done so, perhaps we can lock up his commitment at that time.

Don’t look now but we are now ranked behind Florida...

I would also add that Holyfield ran faster in pads than what his 40 time showed. Maybe this kid does too.
