Just curious, is Burch capable of being a day one impact? Or will he need a few games to develop into the weapon he will become ?
I don’t see him as a day one impact guy In the classical way. Not great HS competition and pretty raw looking to me, as well as not an early enrollee. But because we have such a heavy rotation at DL he will get snaps.
I do see him finding a role as a pass rush guy in certain packages. Too talented to keep off the field, but needs some seasoning. Could emerge late freshman year.
Not saying it isn't possible but ....
Dudes a 10.3 in 100 now. 4.28-9 is very doable for him. Guys can improve their speed through S&C. We’ll see in 3-4 years at combine.
I’m not hating but u didn’t say anything ab 3-4 yrs from now. Only been a couple 4.2 at combine. Hope ur right tho.
So what day is Burch scheduled to announce? If Early Signing is Wednesday and Burch to announce before then - are we talking Monday/tomorrow? Or Tuesday?
there has been 14 4.2 40 at the combine. Like I said I hope ur right but that’s a huge stretch to say he’s a 4.2 guy especially right now. And just because he ran a 10.3 doesn’t mean he will convert that speed to a 40. I’m 100m dash it’s more ab top speed. Usain bolt often came from behind. 40 is ab ur acceleration more than anything. How fast can u get to ur fastest speed.
There is a tear welling in Jordan Burch’s eye. If you two keep this up...
247 list of scheduled announcements lists Burch as announcing on Thursday.
He’s faster than Mecole right now. So very low 4.3 current.
19th
I saw Bolt run a 4.22 in person at the SB experience in ATL earlier this year. He was wearing dockers. Smith can do it.
Point soflow is making is that the kid is really fast.....and it should be assumed that he'll get faster at Georgia with the S&C program.
He probably won't run the 40 again until he starts training for the combine in 3-4 years.
If he's the faster recruit in the country.....it's certainly possible he can eventually get to an upper 4.2 40.
Man that is insane fast.
He will be running track at which ever school he picks correct?
That's why the Matt Bowling connection is so important for us?
if he is a track sprinter, he is already training daily on 40-yard start techniques, overspeed training etc.
