Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

I mean we ARE an SEC team that likes to run the ball. Taking 2 backs makes sense. We were still talking to Edwards recently too.
lol Evans changed. We probably told the Milton's that we were doing one rb after the incident turned the coaches off of Evans for a while. They changed their minds it seems.
If I had to guess it was Evans coming back to us last minute. We may have decided to move on but when the musical chairs stopped and he contacts us (if that’s what happened) you take that commitment. It may also be an ultimatum we gave him as well.
“Sign now and become a Dawg if you really want to come. End this flip flopping”.
(this is a wild guess of events)
Evans let them know and that's why Reed to the Barn? Lotta people thought we were getting Reed. Limited spots I'm sure.
Rusty appears to be really shocked and has posted several follow ups that make it seem like a legit possibility that not only are we in contention again, but also that he may have signed the LOI....who knows for sure....this is Evans afterall, but this is as much a zombie story as a recruiting story as dead as that seemed.
Either way....doesn't look like boredom is in the cards.
I believe they can still talk to them via phone calls or text, just no in home visits right now. I'm not sure though.
I’m not giving up on Evans yet. He changes his mind a lot.
You actually aren't allowed to talk to players once they signed a LOI, unless they signed with you.
That's where the put two and two together stuff by Rusty is coming from if his info is correct.
Milton and Evans are buddies also if I remember during the spring Milton mentioning he wants to be paired with another star RB
This would make sense.
The Miltons probably won't have a problem with it either way, I guess. Kendall was selling Evans on a Chubb/Michel type tandem before we cooled on him after the altercation.
Kendall wanted Evans specifically. That’s a fact.
I think you nailed it. I jokingly said things were getting hairy and spots were tight before...but I had no idea
Merry Christmas Kendall :)
(I hope)
