Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

If that’s true I feel for the young man. Reading about him on the athletic and now seeing this he seems like a good kid and I wish him the best at Carolina every week but one
Tiger, Ga is Woerner territory isn't it?
Never be afraid if a player gets a high round grade, enters the draft and is selected high in the draft.
Rice getting drafted in the 3rd round provides significant benefits to Georgia.
Rice getting drafted high and Tae getting drafted at all will help LB recruiting for years to come.
Rice leaving and getting drafted 6-7 round or not drafted... does not help anyone.
'Our depth chart is more favorable than many think.' regarding WR. Not good as far as collaborating with other buzz.
Something is definitely off. Too much chatter to know for sure. Wish him well but hope our tackles bulldoze him too. Not sorry.
True. What made me think Rice got a good grade is that seemingly after the grades come back , and this was a couple of weeks after Sewell picked Oregon so it didn’t seem related a, UGA suddenly offers 2 in state ILBs. Now I maybe stretching with that logic but why else would we offer DJ Lundy? ( no shot at him, he’s an underrated player.)
With the announced departures and signed recruits ( plus SVP, Jones, Washington, Ringo, Evans) , this is the difference in numbers at each position group from the previous year after the turnover. Attrition is likely coming from the OL, WR, and DB rooms. We're over the 85 limit by three currently.
OL +3
WR +2
QB +1
DB +1
RB +1
DL -1
LB -1
TE -1
K 0
So I’m assuming since you haven’t heard anything on Manning that means he’s gone... it hurts but I’ll try and find a way to get past it. Just hoping that it’s Manning over Henderson.. still hoping for the best lol. I’ll leave it be once he announces
2017 we signed David Martin as a Blue shirt so he counted as a 2018 recruit initially as we were maxed out re 2017 initials. I think he re-classed to 2017 when numbers were finalized. This class also included Wyatt who failed to qualify.
2018 24 enrolled inc. Wyatt plus Walthour and Joseph signed NLI but failed to qualify. 25 Initials (24+2NQ-Wyatt). D-Rob enrolled instead of Joseph as a 2019 initial.
2019 25 enrolled inc Walthour (2018 initial). This means 24 initials in addition to D-Rob. Cager and Wolf were added in the summer as 2020 initials.
2020 Current initials (NLI) are 17 plus C&W for 19 total. This leaves 6 additional NLI (initials) available inc 2 commits, hopefully 3 already signed but not public leaving 1 other. Any additional would have to be 2021 initials which entails not signing a NLI or FAA and not going on scholarship until Aug 1st
Help him and/or his coach by boosting marketability?
Sorry, the 25 on 247 includes Priestley who is a PWO but going through my excels for back years i realized that I missed Jay Hayes who came in 2018 as a 2019 initial. The 2020 position is thus not effected.
So, still 6 NLI available for 2020?
Yes. 2 Jones & SVPG, 3 for Evans, Ringo and Washington hopefully with 1 more.
Shouldn't that be 16 initials with Zirkel as a 2021, plus Cager and Wolf bringing it to 18 for 2020? Add the 2 commits and 3 non-public then it's up to 23 initials for 2020. That would make it a total of 7 initials left for 2020 with 5 assumed to be taken and 2 still open.
