Enos and Kirby have history so it could happen but that wouldn’t excite me personally.

It's seems that some on here have a difficult time finding a source that they trust for information. Obviously we can't trust everyone......but it seems some of you tend to believe everything you read....or don't believe anything you read.....if it serves what you want to believe.

I don't know @SoFL_Dawg from Adam. Never met the guy. So why trust him over others? He has stated multiple times on here that he has one source.....the info he shares comes from that source. He's admitted he isn't an insider.....he doesn't chase Twitter and he isn't spreading crap he hears from those on 247. What he shares makes sense to a knowledgeable football guy and it seems obvious to me that his source is well connected......seems to me that when his info isn't correct......the Georgia coaching staff is surprised as well.

Although I don't always agree with him....nor does he always agree with me....I respect his info about football......but I especially respect his info concerning recruiting.

People on here don't know me. I choose to hide my identity because I don't trust social media. Did I really play D1 college football for 4 years or coach high school football for 29 years? And do I have a son that's going through the recruiting process? It's up to the readers to believe me or not.....but I'm comfortable knowing that there are knowledgeable people on here that know what I say comes from a certain amount of experience. Certainly doesn't mean they always agree with me.....but they are comfortable knowing I am what I claim to be.

I don't know @kurganofprussia or @LBCoach at all....but I believe what they say about their coaching background because of how they say it. I can tell their info is coming from a coaches point of view because they have obviously spent time on the sidelines and in the locker room. I know this by how they say things. I don't always agree with them.....nor do they always agree with me.....but I respect and trust what they say.

I don't know @Canedawg2140 any better than I do anyone else on here..... but I could tell from his posts that he has coached....even before he said he had.....but I could especially tell that he had been a high school AD because you don't know what he knows if you hadn't done it.....

And there are plenty of other knowledgeable posters and former coaches on here that I respect as well.....I just named a few.

there are also plenty of others on here that I respect their football minds..... although they have never spent time coaching.......because I can tell they know the sport and spend time learning the sport from the info they provide.....people certainly didn't have to play or coach to be very knowledgeable about the game. And there are a bunch of very knowledgeable posters on Dawgnation.

And conversely.....I can tell some of you have no idea what you are talking about simply by the way you say things. The internet has made many an "expert".....

All this to say.......some of you can go on reading and believing everything that is out there.....but until you can actually trust the people you are following......you are usually just reading and believing garbage.

That's just it.....I don't know anymore. That info could still be correct....but other things seem more logical. Really just want to wait and see what happens and not be the one that continues to spread rumors.

I know people are frustrated and anxious. But this isn't unprecedented in the recruiting world.....there are many twists and turns every year.....although....not necessarily with players with this high a profile.

This will all work out soon enough.

Ringo’s long awaited, albeit, expected announcement today made me think of SoFl_Dawg’s legendary revenge prank and manufactured board meltdown a few months ago. I was so disappointed when he came on saying that Oregon had flipped Ringo and was relieved when he reassured us that he was joking!

SoFl_Dawg- thanks again for the information you pass on.

And thank you, texdawg, for continuing to bring sanity to the board.

It’s been a crazy recruiting cycle and although not over anyone else we bring in is gravy to me.
