Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

@RxDawg - HA neither did I! If I had, I might of gone to a different school.
But, going from 24 hrs of Dead at EU to the music of Athens in the early 80's was almost worth the transfer on its own!
Good one, sir.
If we had a "made me laugh" button you would get one of those, too.
The students were not Emory students but Emory's Oxford College out in Covington. Like comparing UGA to the UGA Griffin outpost.
Oxford College has a metric ****-ton more intersectional feminist wokeness than Emory.
Incidentally, I'd let young Mr. Lu off on the grounds of tempory insanity due to hormonal rage. Obviously he was just trying to get laid.
I attended a George Clinton/P Funk show at a mixer for Emory freshmen once. That was a strange evening.
@moos That's Atomic Dawg. Bow-wow-wow-yippie-yo-yippie-yeah.
Please do not bring logic and facts into my thread. Now I have to point my hate at a completely different group of people? So much time and effort.
I went to Emory-at-Oxford for a week of summer school between freshman and sophomore years at "Big Emory."
That was more than I could stand. Dropped it and spent the summer playing tennis and working.
When I was at Emory we listened to great music and had great bands for our parties. The Hot Nuts, The Medallions, Otis Redding.
Okay, I'm kidding about one. Otis Redding did play for a party but it was while I was still in high school and before he hit the big time.
Emory was a huge party school when I was there (or at least it was for me and my friends). I got much more serious at UGA.
Go, Dawgs!
@JimWallace You went to a party in high school where Otis Redding played?!! Wow!
Close your eyes and picture 200 smart kids with no social skills wandering around in the foreground with no idea what to doA with Clinton, Diaperman, and the whole Parliament Funkadelic crew on stage getting down.
Let's just say I found a few fellow degenerates and made the most of the evening.
@Dawgsauce oh, it was way worse than that. Those people are at least halfway attractive.
While I was in high school Otis played at a party at Emory.
My friends at Emory were at the party. They'd engaged Otis for a very small fee. I was not there.
I grew up in New Orleans and heard plenty of great singers and bands so don't feel bad for me on that score.
Go, Dawgs!
Emory has a great tradition in debate, and they have really intelligent students who generally have a lot of money. I hope their rich parents have to spend a lot of money to defend them, and the judge orders them to clean the stadium after the Tennessee game this year.
When I got married Otis was available and an affordable option to play at our wedding. We were afraid to pull the trigger on that. Wish I could have a do-over. (On a lot of things!)
