Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Yeh, I'm crying 🤣
Secure the crib😷
Wow...that's really unfortunate timing to say the least. That's a great spot independent of the virus (!)
I've heard multiple folks describe the early symptoms as you have here, @CaliforniaDawg . Glad to hear that things haven't progressed for you and that your wife has been asymptomatic to date. Kudos to you both for self-isolating to minimize potential impact to others 👏
Well, it's official...losing my job temporarily starting the week of March 28. Hoping things can turn around before then.
It gives me great comfort to know that during these trying times, where small business owners, as well as others in the service industry are not sure where their next pay checks will be coming from...rolodawg is still alive and well and pwning millenials who need safe spaces
This is what really sucks about this whole situation. The domino effect seems to have been undermined by many.
My wife and I are both self employed in the real estate industry. She is an agent and I do home inspections. She has very little business going on and I have nothing on the books as I type.
The good; We both work from home anyway so we're used to that.
The bad; Work is at almost a standstill, and like many, we wonder when the next check may come in.
However, we both faced this back in the crash of 2009. We found ways to make ends meet by doing odd jobs that we never thought we would do (cleaning foreclosed homes) but we made it through the tough times and will this time too. So will you!
Stay positive!!
I thought this was pretty good. Making it's way through the mil community.
@Kasey do make any money for clicks on your blog. If so, I bet we could make those go way up.
hah I wish...
Prayers sent Kasey.
Welp overnight update. The sunshine state added 98 confirmed cases today as the testing comes back.
I have on first hand knowledge directly from a local med device rep, a patient in Boca Raton, tested positive and is on a ventilator. Per feedback provided from attending physicians, this patient is 40 years old WITHOUT pre-existing conditions. I’m sure this will go public shortly.
My goal is not to scare or provide fake news but I hope that each of you truly take this thing serious. This bug isn’t discriminating like we thought. The patient described above for all intents and purposes is deceased, unable to breathe on their own. A 6 year old also diagnosed as positive.
Stay safe Dawgnation

Just like a lot of crap, no one is impervious to this thing. Like many of my doctor friends, it's all about percentages...
No age group is gonna have a zero beside its name, and I don't think any nationality is gonna be spared, either. It's up to us as individuals to drive them down. Every time we wash our hands, stay away from others, keep ourselves rested, hydrated, healthy - we lower the percentages. Our age and health coming into this raises or lowers our percentages. The condition of our hospitals raises or lowers these percentages. Our present location raises or lowers them.
We don't have control over everything, but we are called to take care of what we can. We really never did, honestly. Young people get cancer, have heart attacks, etc, too.
I know that He is in control, not surprised, and sees the end with clarity. And I know that in times like this we should put others first and take care of each other. Time to order take out and leave a stupidly big tip.
We will get through this! I think as a stronger, more united society!
"Stupidly big tips" All hear that. If your income has not been affected, important to be "stupidly" generous with those whose income has been affected or lost.
Helluva post
Ahhhh the good ole health and comfort on a friday to lock us down over the weekend.
I'm usually one of those old guys that say "stay off my lawn." This trouble has changed my tune. We have a neighborhood web site. I just posted, "whatever you need, if I got it." Time to come together IMO.
